These Turkish Delights are nearly completely covered in powdered sugar, which makes determining the flavor almost a game. The colors peek through, but aren’t super obvious. For taste, I’d say these are a classic / traditional take and matched my prior turkish delights experiences. They arrived fresh and slightly squishy. It’s a gummy texture, but easier to bite into than most gummy candies.They were not a huge hit for the adults or kids in our house, but I think that comes down to personal preference on this type of candy rather than the product quality. They seem like a good representation of turkish delights if you already know you enjoy that style of candy.

So I have never had Turkish Delight, but being a book lover I've long heard about it and wanted to try it. Well, let me just say that it is not for me. My husband and son did enjoy them though and were happy to have more for them.

Turkish delight is an acquired taste, and not actually because of the taste but because of the weird gooey gelatinous texture which crunchy bits. In that respect, this pistachio Turkish delight by Edenica will probably have people who already love Turkish Delight going back for seconds and thirds, but newcomers will likely find the crunchy and gooey texture a bit off-putting as their first time.The strength of the pistachio flavor was a definite plus for me as pistachios are one of my favorite nuts and there are visual pistachio halves in each of the the Turkish delight pieces.On the other hand, it's exactly that crunchy and chewy nature that might be hard for those unfamiliar with Turkish delight to swallow.***Overall Value***This set feels like it has a "gift set" price at $21 (at the time of review) and I don't think we'd buy it otherwise at this price.

I'll start this review by making it clear that I've never been a huge fan of Turkish Delights. I never hated them necessarily, but I would never buy them unless it was for my mother. I didn't like the past ones I've tried because they had a lot of flavors that I either wasn't expecting or out right didn't like with my desserts.These, on the other hand, have completely changed my opinion. They taste very simple in comparison to the past ones I've tried and I love it! I don't know exactly what's in a Turkish delight, but what I taste is a gummy texture, a slight crunch from pistachios, and a generous amount of powdered sugar. They're definitely a bit messy due to the powdered sugar but other than that they taste incredible!I highly recommend picking these up!

We love Turkish Delights. They are a more gourmet spin on regular gummy candy!The 1.15 pound box comes with four flavors of sweets - mint, pomegranate, orange, and lemon.Each piece of candy is a nice size but they are NOT individually wrapped.The heavy handed powdered sugar coating on each piece gives them an initial burst of sweetness and a different mouthfeel. There was A LOT of powder on them. When I first opened the box, it immediately started flying out! They have WAAAAAY more powdered sugar on them than they do in the product listing photo. Ours were so white that you could barely tell what flavors they were!Once you start chewing, the fruit and mint flavors really come through. They aren't incredibly sweet but I thought the flavors were easily identifiable. My favorite was the lemon! It was bursting with fresh, citrusy flavor. None of us liked the mint. It was just off tasting. I definitely would have preferred another fruit flavor as the mint seemed to absorb into a few of the other pieces.The texture was super fresh, soft, and chewy. Stale gummy candy is tough and rubbery. That wasn't the case at all with this candy. It has a chewy, slightly sticky texture that was quite satisfying!

When I saw that the Symphony of Sweets Collection, by Edenica, was available to order, I couldn’t react fast enough. When they arrived, which was this afternoon, I was excited to open them and try each flavor.I have always really liked Turkish Delights. There was something about how this selection of Turkish treats, and how they were rolled that had me really excited to try them. They looked absolutely delicious. I couldn’t have been happier when they arrived this afternoon and I finally got to taste one, or two, okay I tasted three different selections. I promise that each one of the treats tasted more and more delicious. I had to stop eating them for a couple reasons. One is that I had to leave enough to be able to take a picture of what we had received. I also needed to make sure that my husband was going to be able to taste them before I had eaten all of them, jokingly. I didn’t think that would be very fair if I didn’t share these with him. I know that he is going to love these gourmet treats as much as I am.The Exotic Fusion that we are so fortunate to be trying are: Pomegranate, Orange, Mastic Gum, and Rose Leaf finger Turkish Delights, with Pistachios. As you can see from my pictures, the Rose treat has actual rose leaves that are wrapped around many pieces of Pistachios. I think that they be my favorite flavor.I love that these Turkish treats are hand-rolled, and are a true product of Turkey. Food always seems like the item that can bring people together. I don’t know if ordering a box of Turkish Delights will be helping bridge our country’s closer, but I’ll keep buying these treats for the taste and quality. I’m going to eat some more of these Turkish Delights right now. I hope that you will try these as well.
