Kaytee Shelled Peanuts For Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Jays, Towhees, Cardinals, Indigo Buntings & Other Wild Birds, 10 Pound

These are great peanuts for feeding birds. Unfortunately I thought they were in the shell, but they are shelled and can’t be returned. Hopefully the birds will still eat them…

I usually buy bird/squirrel peanuts from my brick and mortar PetSmart, buy these where less expensive, and they’re a hit with the animals!

These are for squirrels, the nuts we’re whole and not cracked.

Squirrels come by every day and eat these up. There is quite a bit of mess though due to the skins from the peanuts.

I always get the Kaytee brand peanuts, and failed to notice these are not the shelled peanuts. The squirrels don't seem to care.

I got these bc I was tired of taking up peanut shells. I had no idea how many different birds love themselves some peanuts. Blue jays, tufted tit mouse, crows, nuthatches, etc etc etc. they devore the hefty sum I leave out within 2 days. So I'd say they approve.

The first bag I received was great. Whole and half peanuts, not much waste. The second bag was awful! The contents looked like they had been the last of the dregs from the bottom of the barrel. Mostly half nuts, a lot of peanut skins, and those tiny "kernels" that are at the bottoms of peanuts. Total waste of money! Clearly no ones does quality control! I cancelled the subscription. When I need shelled peanuts for the squirrels, I'll go to a store where I can see the content of the bag before buying.
