Clear images and good value
Clear video calling. Works very well even with lower light levels.

Really good little set up
I am the wrong person to be able give a very 'techy' review of this but here goes. I speak to my sister is Spain every month on what's app and fed up doing it on the relatively small screen of my phone. So got this. I waited till my son visited to ask him to help me set it up but he said 'mum you literally plug it in and go' . So I tried and he was indeed right , it was so easy to set up. I cant comment on quality of the sound as much as others as my hearing is not that good anyway but came through my speakers as good if not better than my phone and was so nice to be able to use my large PC screen. Picture seems really good for the price you pay and all in all I am very happy with it. I am sure that maybe if you spent a LOT more you would get better screen quality etc but honestly this is far , far better than I expected for the money even though I was given it as part of the Vine programme. I would happily pay for this camera as think its really good value for money. Only downside for me is that the cable they supply to plug into the pc could be a bit longer as it only just about reaches and my screen is right next to my tower under the desk

Good quality pictures compared to laptop cameras
This camera comes with a tripod and base plate that allows you to mount this either as a standalone (on tripod) or on a monitor. It has enough adjustment settings to allow for you find a way to point in whichever place you want.It comes with an integrated USB A cable, but also with a USB A to C adaptor incase you need to plug it into a USB C port on some laptops. This 4k camera can provide some decent quality pictures for use as a web cam. As long as you don’t expect it to match your phone you should be fine.I tried this mounted right next to my laptop camera, and it was definitely better than my laptop camera, especially in lowlight conditions. I could see a lot more fine detail and much warmer colours due to the better sensor on this camera. It was still much worse than my cellphone selfie camera though. It comes with a lens cover, that you can stick on to the front. However that does not look very nice, and it wouldve been much better if there was integrated shutter that you could operate from the top. It takes away from the otherwise sleek design of the camera.Listed Price when I reviewed it: £27.99(Disclaimer: I received this for free as part of the Amazon Vine program, but the views here are based on my own experiences and not edited or influenced by anyone)

Good value webcam
This unbranded generic cam is recognised by my system as a “Nisheng M3”. Reviews for it can be found online, it's generally called the Nisheng 4k.In testing, I did get an output of 3840x2160. The image quality is pretty good as long as your environment is well lit. In dull light, the image gets progressively noisier, with a clear grain present as the ISO is boosted to account for the low light. I don't know what the actual sensor resolution is, image quality is acceptable but it's not as sharp as the 3840x2160 output suggests. There is little point in outputting 2160p if the results are no better than 1080p.The camera is provided with a basic but useful mini tripod, a USB A female to USB C male adapter and a self adhesive lens cover if you're concerned about privacy.I hoped to be able to use this with my Creality Sonic Pad, for monitoring 3D prints and for making time-lapse videos, unfortunately it is not compatible, no fault of this product however.Whilst I don't think the quality is up there with true 4K webcams, at the current price of £26.99, this is competitively priced and I would recommend it to those looking for a cheap webcam for video conferencing.

Very good camera for the price
My built-in PC webcam stopped working recently, so I have been looking for a decent replacement. The first was pretty awful, but this one is really surprisingly good. It comes with a tripod to add flexibility, but can also be mounted on a PC monitor, and this is the option I chose. It grips the top of the monitor well and is very stable, and also comes with a self adhesive privacy lens cover, which is another plus point. On the down side, although it works straight out of the box, without the need for additional software, and produces a very acceptable video image for video conferencing, I did have to make some tweaks using the PC's built in webcam settings. The problem was the autofocus function, which resulted in an unstable image, and I had to switch to manual focus in Windows 10 and set it myself to make it more stable. This was not difficult, but it was fiddly. Once done, however, the webcam has worked perfectly.Overall, this is a very decent product for the price, although you may have to make a few simple tweaks to get a perfect image.

Sharp images for professional calls
This webcam has significantly upgraded my video conferencing experience. Its high resolution ensures that I always come through clear and sharp, which is crucial for my professional presentations. The autofocus is responsive, keeping me in clear view even as I move around. The privacy cover is a thoughtful addition, giving me peace of mind when the camera is not in use. The setup was plug-and-play, which I greatly appreciated as it allowed me to get up and running quickly.

Autofocus makes this useless
Thought I would try it out as it's the cheapest 4K webcam around at the moment, but save yourself the trouble and don't do the same. Every single little move you make, the autofocus kicks in. This means you're constantly blurring in and out of focus every few seconds. Not only that, if you have a light on then the display flickers constantly too for some reason.
