I know nothing about laptops, but I needed one that could handle my embroidery software. I followed the program’s specs and got a little help picking this one — and wow, it’s amazing. It runs everything smoothly, super fast, and looks sleek too. Easy setup.. as obviously I was able to do it! I was told it’s even better than a gaming laptop (no idea how true that is, but I’m running stitches like a champ). Great price, great quality, and now my teen boys are officially jealous. 😂

The price is very good. The quality is as good or better! What more could ask for? My copies are better than ever. TerryB

What can I say, I purchased this laptop as a low cost option to use for office applications and some video viewing. I was completely impressed with the expansion options with this laptop. First you can install 2 thats right 2 nvme drives inside the laptop for redundant storage. The laptop works great with Windows or Linux.I thought I would try maxing this baby out by overloading it. I setup 29 docker containers running proxy server, and other services simultaneously. Also attached dual hard drive caddies to all of the usb ports setting up RAID across all of the disks. The laptop passed with flying colors.

Works. Tired of that extra imbedded Acer software.

REVIEW UPDATED (taking 2 stars off): After 10 months of usage, the screen flickers randomly and sometimes goes completely black (but it seems to happen on and off, for example was constant a couple weeks ago then stopped again this week). It really can't handle gaming because it gets so hot to the point its dangerous for the hardware. I still use this as my main laptop for work everyday, and i honestly am going to keep doing so as long as i possibly can. Forced to get windows 11 and it sucks but you just get used to it (reminds me of being forced to upgrade from windows 7, i was livid). So far battery life is still pretty great for just using chrome and a few low intensive apps like discord, spotify, and light work programs. Taking two stars off at 10 months in because if the screen flickers like this then it will probably go caput sooner than later and if you rely on it for work like me that doesn't make you feel very secure in purchasing it.

Specs seemed to be a good computer, Acer has been around for a while but this computer has been the worst computer I have ever owned. Started off with random wifi disconnects and bluetooth disconnects, then it turned into days without wifi or bluetooth working, blue screens of death, keyboard and trackpad not working. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Extremely disappointed with this purchase

This laptop was very easy to setup and start using. I only use it for email, photos, and Microsoft Office. It’s fast, great display and the keyboard has a nice touch.
