Arrived on time in a robust resalable pouch. Used this as it was called for in a medieval Gingerbread recipe ‘And if thou would have it red colour it with sandalwood now’ And that what it did . Not a bright red more of a brownish red but that may have been due to other ingredients in the mix. No pronounced flavour to the powder, which is good as I only wanted to add colour.

Quality - authentic red sandal ????
I bought beautiful red sandal powder from Oman 2 years ago. My supply has finished. The fragrance hits as soon as you open the tin and is even better. I bought this red cottage red sandal powder in the hope it would have some element of the Omani powder. It doesn't... at all. Very disappointing. Waste of money. I don't normally write reviews, but ...save your pennies.
