I can't believe how great this works. I thought it would only separate out the really big stuff, it got most of the dust from my planer. I am going to try it on with all my other tools but I have no doubt that it works as advertised and review on you tube video. I am impressed. Only thing I wish is that it clipped onto Home Depot orange buckets better.

used this as a replacement for my HF dust separator - it was decent until you tried to pull the lid off. enter the dust deputy... this thing is a dream to use. the lid comes off easily and the set up is clear so you can see how close you are to filling the bucket. also, the low profile design makes it much less top-heavy so it doesn't turn over as easily. this is money well spent. would definitely recommend

This works as advertised and keeps the vacuum helps filter clean. I wish it had a larger chips and dust collection bin, but the bin itself is clear so you can see the dust building up so you know when it needs dumping. My only gripe is that the cyclone unit is held onto the bin with only two flimsy clips when I think it needs four to enable a better seal between the cyclone and the bin. Otherwise, it’s a good unit and I recommend it.

This is a wonderful item and it greatly improves the efficiency of your shop vac having said that I ruined mine by attaching it to a harbor freight bucket, which was prone to imploding frequently imploding bucket can be hard on the seal, so make sure that if you’re going to buy this That you use a more durable bucket with it

Bought this to use with a blast cabinet. I have a very old shop vac that draws 800 cfm without the hose (most of the new shop vacs claim 120 -200 cfm). After installing The Dust Deputy on the blast cabinet I measure no loss of cfm. The coal slag media I am using creates very fine dust that clogged the Vevor dust extractor in minutes. The Dust Deputy captures almost all of that dust. I chose the Dust Deputy because it was made in USA and was reworded by excellent instructions, perfect fit on the 5 gallon bucket and hose fittings that don't leak .

Cheap crap don’t buy it. The lid doesn’t lock properly. It needs at least two or four more points for it to properly lock. Definitely not worth the money. If you are a hobbyist and you’re barely using it, maybe it would last. I’m a flooring refinisher. After using the low-pro for one day I can definitely say that this is a bad product.I’ve been using the original Oneida cyclone since 2016 and I still have it and use it every day. But I’m building a new vacuum for my new crew. Just wanted to try something new that they offered.Developer, please update the top to fit and lock properly a regular 5 gallon bucket.

My husband uses this item with his miter saw and shop vac in order to reduce the saw dust. He is very happy with it. To our surprise, the manufacture sent us a replacement bucket two weeks after the item was delivered, as the original bucket was recalled. We very much appreciate the manufacture’s effort to make their product meet the standards.
