PatioZen 90 Gallon Resin Deck Box, Lockable Patio Outdoor Storage Box for Furniture, Garden Tools and Tools Storage, Waterproof Outside Storage Box - Black

I purchased this about a year or so ago. I hold off on reviewing items right after purchase because of longevity of items like this. With that, this has been great for what I wanted it for. I use this as a package delivery box at our front gate. Of course, nothing is perfect so I’ll list pros and cons. Pros: - waterproof - general size - has lasted over a year out in the elements. - Texas summer heat. No issue. - Crazy spring weather. No issues. - from what I remember of the assembly. It took me maybe 10 minutes. By myself. Didn’t even need to get my husband involved. It’s like a simple puzzle. Just have to fit the pieces together. - lid - a toddler can open it. Nothing difficult about it. Cons: - color has faded some. But I’m not looking for something that stays pretty. This is expected with anything constantly exposed to direct sunlight. 🤷🏻‍♀️ - we had to put concrete pavers in the bottom to hold it in place. It’s not heavy. So a strong wind could potentially hide it from you. - waterproof? Yes. Water tight? No. To protect our delivered packages we did add a little lift type thing my husband built to keep the packages off the pavers so they would not sit in water in heavy storms. (Now, don’t think it’ll flood, it does not flood. But, water does trickle into it when the sky is falling) - curb appeal? It has a use. It’s not a decoration. Is it horrendous to look at? Absolutely not. But it’s a box with an attempt at decorative flair haha - Would I consider it a secure box? Haha no. Even if you put some type of locking mechanism on it… if someone REALLY wanted to get into it. It would take them less than 5 minutes. (This is not a concern for us as we have security cameras everywhere and this box is in direct view of 4 of them at different angles.) - overall stability? Again, not the greatest, but I spent what… $60ish on it. I mean, you get what you’re willing to pay for. With all of that said, I am very happy with it at this price point. Yes, we had to add some customization to it. But if/when this box needs to be replaced, I would not hesitate to purchase it again if it’s available.

Rain hasn’t gotten inside. Very nice design and quality and easy to put together. Excited to store all of our pool supplies and toys in it. It seems to be a good size to hold quite a bit. Will update when we have more stuff in it.

So far so good. Pretty easy to assemble about 10-15 min. I like that the lid stays up on its own with the included gas piston support. Not sure it sturdy enough to sit on but that's not why I bought it so not gonna complain about that. Overall I'm very happy with it. Right size and good price.

This is a really nice deck box. I only gave it four stars because the lid is a bit flimsy. It’s not solid and you either have to use both hands on each end to open it without it bending weirdly, or directly in the Center. Other than that, it has kept my swing cushions perfectly dry when it rains, and it looks really nice on my deck. I recommend purchasing this deck box. Just be careful opening and closing it.

I purchased this 120-gallon PatioZen deck box for my horse Dakota’s paddock area to store his grooming caddy, winter blankets, and sheets, and it has exceeded every expectation. The size is fantastic — it easily fits multiple blankets, sheets, and all the miscellaneous grooming supplies I need daily. The resin material feels durable and solid, and I really appreciate that it’s fully weather-resistant. Even in our unpredictable New England weather, everything inside has stayed dry and clean. Assembly was straightforward, and I love that it’s lockable for added peace of mind around a busy barn. The lid opens smoothly and stays up while I’m digging through blankets, which is a small detail but makes a big difference when your hands are full. If you're looking for reliable outdoor storage for a barn, garage, deck, or patio, this is an excellent choice. I’m actually considering buying a second one because it keeps everything so neat, dry, and organized. Highly recommend!

I actually bought and own this deck box. There are lots of deck boxes available on Amazon. Just do NOT buy this one!!! Keep shopping. Find a different one. Avoid this one like a double dose of the plague. Why? First of all the directions are worthless. They are no help in assembling it. But wait it gets worse. The panels that you need to lock together (which again the instructions don't explain) are thin flimsy and prone to breaking. I got mine together but had to add braces at never every point where the pieces come together. So after a lot of frustration I got mine together. At that moment I wondered why I just didn't throw all of the pieces back into the shipping box and return it to Amazon. But stupid me. I kept it. Don't be stupid like me. Oh, did I mention that it is flimsy? Can't think of a better word than flimsy. How flimsy? Well you have to very carefully open the lid. Best to grab it at the center edge with two hands. Then lift slowly. It will still bend and flex like a Texas cheerleader, I added internal bracing. Which meant drilling holes in the lid and then putting nuts and bolts through those holes into 1" x 2" wooden firring strips. After all of that the top still flexes a bit but not as bad. If it was just the top that flexed maybe it would be SO bad. But when the top is opened the entire box flexes. Oh that top? For insurance purposes make absolutely sure that the neighbors 11 year old does not sit on top of this deck box. The kid will break the lid and probably fall inside. Which kinda makes me wonder how well this deck box will hold up to changes in the weather. Will heat and/or freezing cold cause it to break and shatter? Can't give less than one star...bummer. I am struggling to say something positive about this deck box. Uh lets see.....well the brown is a nice color. Uh and the size is actually ok. But yeah I am grabbing for straws. Bottom line. Find a different version/vendor. You can thank me later with a gift card.

This storage bin provides a great way to store patio cushions keeping them dry and out of the weather. Easy to assemble in minutes.

First, the instructions are not great, but they are not as bad as some of the consumers stated in their reviews. Look at the photos and don't overthink it. When you get to the first step, it does make you panic because you realize just how flimsy it is unassembled as you snap the first three pieces together. But it does get better. Yes, you need a screwdriver, so maybe they can clean that up a bit in their ad, but it's a few simple screws and that's it. I ordered this because I wanted hinges on the lip so the lid wouldn't fly off or break as some other models do, but it does make a cracking sound when closing. Again, it's flimsy. They probably should have used another bar or two across the top to make it sturdier if they don't want to upgrade their material. I have more than enough storage capacity for what I am using it for, and I don't plan on moving it, although it's lightweight and easy to move. I'm actually going to put some weights in the bottom to secure it more from our heavy winds. I'm concerned about warping as others have experienced, but so far, it looks great and blends right into my porch. Let's just hope the delivery drivers are paying attention and put my items in there and not on the porch. Waterproof? I doubt that it's going to keep water completely out due to its design, and there's no way for water to drain if it does get in there. I may drill some drain holes in the bottom if water becomes an issue. Regardless, I don't plan on using it for long-term storage anyway, so it's perfect for temporary delivery placement. Here's a photo and video of the flimsy lid closing (sign not included but available on Amazon). UPDATE: I intentionally didn't put a lock on here since I am using this for deliveries, but the wind blew the lid up. That's not good for the lid or my packages if I'm not home. I ended up adding a hasp latch, which probably should have been on here from the start. Still happy with my purchase overall.

Just the perfect size to fit on a balcony in the city, and absolutely waterproof. I just love it.

Perfect for a front porch parcel box! But has so many other storage possibilities. Also, looks fantastic and it's water proof. I love it!!! ❤️

They are a perfect size for what we needed. The only real complaint is they are not really grey, more a taupe (beige side) and we were looking more for a true grey.
