Love this spice mixture!
Love it love it love it! I cook a lot of salmon and I after I put some olive oil down I sprinkle this spice mixture on top and wow! It’s great on hamburgers too!

Quality blend of base ingredients for cooking proteins but too much salt / sodium for me
When cooking proteins, a little salt and good amounts of black pepper and granulated garlic are my go-to base ingredients. This base seasoning product is exactly the same ingredients. I have always found McCormick seasonings to be very good but as someone watching sodium levels this product is not for me as ¼ teaspoon contains 190 mg of sodium; that’s 32.2% of the seasoning. The product label notes, “Shake on 1 tbsp. [tablespoon] seasoning per pound of meat, seafood & veggies.” While a pound of food is a large amount for one person, a tablespoon of this product contains 2280 mg of sodium which according to the Mayo Clinic website is above the WHO suggested daily limit of 2000 mg. My big problem with this is not the amount of salt as it may not be an issue whatsoever for some people; the issue is there is not any mention that I could find of the amount of sodium in the product listing. Had I seen that information this would be a no-go for me.

Use sparingly, quite salty.
I put the spice in a different shaker with smaller holes. I wouldn't use in tandem with another spice that contains salt.
