I really wanted to like this toaster, but it just makes warm bread! We got the 4-slice because I am gluten free and my husband is not. If you know anything about gf bread, you know that most of it doesn't toast all that well, so I just blamed it on the bread. But then my husband started to complain that his bread was just warm and bagels were chewy. I've tried every setting, cranked it all the way up (where every other toaster I've used burns!)...and we still get meh toast. It also does not bring the bread up high enough to grab easily like the picture shows - but that's ok because it's not hot! Maybe its defective, but we passed the return date, so will likley donate it and go back to our old one. Really disappointing!Btw...if you do purchase, be sure to look inside the toaster and take out all the little cardboard pieces. That's about the only thing it has actually toasted.Updated***** This company was amazing to work with. After seeing my initial review, they refunded the entire purchase price. I've not ever had a seller be that proactive in their customer service.

Love the toaster but do not like white. I wasn't going to pay more for black. It does work great.

I literally researched 4 slice toasters for days trying to find the perfect one for my picky son and his new bride. Although it is Christmas gift, I have not given it to them yet. But, I have opened the box and inspected the toaster. I am overwhelmed with the beautiful color and the design of the the toaster. This is an amazing quality item and I really like that the extra large toaster, bagel slots offer the largest space for your bread. The heat setting is high but not extremely so as you don't want to burn yourself. The color and style are very modern and lively. You want be disappointed.

This device does a fine job all around. It lacks one feature I got used to in my last toaster: a digital count-down display. That kept me informed of my wait times while I tended to other kitchen tasks. But its a solid toaster.

Beautiful but the sides immediately heat up to a very high and unsafe temperature! Also, the intense chemical smell from the materials used were toxic. Very disappointed, especially when I made this purchase based upon good reviews. Got another basic Black and Decker and very happy with that.

You have to dial up to 5 if you like your toast browned. Then you still may have to retoast. The look is fine but the function is lacking.

I love the ease of making 4 slices of toast at 2 different temperatures. Super cute with my other appliances. Love it.

It doesn't toast evenly and even at 6 it still barely toasts bagels etc. And yes I pushed the bagel button, even tried putting the bagel in differently.Not horrible, just not great.
