Pricey in the UK and different texture to normal!
Usually, I would rate this product five stars; however, this review is based solely on the two packets I received. I am very familiar with Brookside chocolate from my time in the USA. As this product is imported, the mark‑up is understandably high, so in my opinion it does not represent good value for money here in the UK. That said, purchasing it was still a choice I made. This delicious combination of dark chocolate, açaí and blueberry is normally a guilty pleasure for me as a few pieces go a long way in satisfying my sweet cravings. In my opinion, this product’s sugar content is high. The 1lb bag is also a generous size and ideal for sharing. Typically, the texture is soft and chewy. However, in this case the texture was noticeably firmer, though still chewy. The chocolate didn’t seem quite as fresh as expected. I’m unsure whether this was due to the product being frozen during transit or simply its age. While this product has a long shelf life, the texture was slightly off, though still perfectly edible. Would I buy it again in the UK? Possibly, but only after weighing the cost against other discretionary treats to decide whether it feels justified.

Melted together and not suitable to eat/ give as a present.
Would not recommend this product. Paid a fair amount of money for the chocolate to be melted and stuck together in one big blob. Checked reviews after purchase (unfortunately) and it stated you can’t get a refund. Don’t buy!

Poor product
Had this product before and loved it, but this time it seems like the product may have melted and reformed as huge lumps nothing individual a great shame as this is not a cheap item.

Really tasty special treat.
We used these treats for an afternoon tea party. They looked very pretty in the little cups we used and they tasted great! There was one extra table with no participants, but somehow, the candies just disappeared! Very tasty, did not melt, and easy to serve. Great snack, too! Pretty high in sugar, so I wouldn’t treat them as a health food.
