Nice variety of tools, works very well. I did not take a picture of the before of a kitchen knife that was ruined. Came out much nicer and with less prominent edges on the blade, a little more work will have it looking much nicer, it did lose a majority of the damage as well. The variety of things In the kit made it much easier to do. Overall with the money.

Great kit of a Woodcarver.

This set sharpens better than any of my sandpaper, which is incredibly nice! Almost every part works perfectly except for two small issues. The lesser of the two is the slip pad on the bottom of the bamboo holder peeled off instantly, but I don't find that much of a problem. My issue is the red 3000 grit stone disintegrates and seems to fall apart. No other stone does this, including the 3000 grit side of my are sharpener from the same kit. Other than that, all parts fit together nicely and I'd say it's good value! The chisel guide is extremely nice too.

This is the finest home sharpening set I have ever used or even seen. It has everything for my knives from dead dull to finishing polish. It has all the grits I need, including rouge and two fine finishing strops. It even has an odd hand held stone for odd things like axes.

I've got plenty of gizmos that are supposed to make sharpening blades foolproof and some of them even work fairly well. At the end of the day, though, this is one of those "the old ways are best" situations. You just can't beat taking your time with a set of water stones. The angle guide makes it about as easy as stones are ever going to get, but it's still labor intensive compared to the electric doohickies that promise you the moon. I sharpened some kitchen knives, which is what I got this set for, but nothing says "sharp" quite like a close shave. I had a straight razor I forged myself over a decade ago that I had never quite been able to get comfortably sharp because, for whatever reason, I never got an 8000 grit stone before. Well, I gave it a good 30 minutes carefully working in on this set and sure enough, it glides through hairs now like butter.

These are great sharpening stones for all kinds of knives to axes and tools like chisels.

Je ne suis pas un expert et j'ai pu à l'aide de cet ensemble me faire la main et remettre en bon état de vieux ciseaux à bois et une hachette. N'utilisez pas ce kit sur des outils dispendieux !
