Key saver
Very easy to use. Literally saved me a couple of hundred dollars. The buttons get worn out on the Chevy keys and I would just go to the dealership and purchase program a new one.

Works well, hardest part was getting old key fob open to get parts
1. The new key fob came with both pieces closed. Flip out the blank key and you can pry the batter case off the back. Next you can pull the two halves apart to get started.2. To get the circuit board and key from my old broken key fob (button cover broken from pressing over the years) I put the key fob in a vise and cut the seam on the side away from where the key flips out with a hack saw. It opens in about 2-3 mins this way. Pop it open with a screwdriver once you have the seam open.3. I had to use a punch to get the pin out of my old key, you can probably use a hammer and small nail. I did mark the side facing out with sharpie to keep the orientation of the key correct. You'll need to use a punch to get the blank key out of the new key fob. Then connect your old metal key part to the new hinge by punching the pin into the new hinge.4. Use the new parts that come with the new key fob, don't reuse the original metal hinge or the old spring. Follow the video (I think it's like the 5th thing where you can find more details on the product) and you should have a working replacement key in about 15 mins.

Aftermarket is ok
Not bad. So far, everything's working. Feels ok. Buttons are a little "stiff" but working. Guess we will see later on, how long it lasts

Might not work with Original Cut Key
The FOB itself is fine, but despite numerous attempts to swap over the actual key from the original FOB the actual push button and key function does not fit properly. This is for a 2012 GMC Terrain. It seems others had success swapping the key by using the original button and spring or some combo of new and old parts, but it simply didn't work. Now the search for a place to laser cut the new blanks is on.Note: the transponder is on the chip with the unlock/lock, etc buttons so whatever key is used to start they car needs to have that close by.

Great buy!
Great value! This is a great alternative to spending alot of money at the dealer. Quality is as good as original at a fraction of the cost. Swapping the parts over isn't terrible but be very careful taking the old one apart as to not break the board. Love that it came with screwdrivers as well.

Good alternative, but may need to cut key blanks to fit.
Good alternative for replacement fobs. Easy to exchange parts from existing fobs into the new ones at a fraction of the cost from a dealership. Solid housing and sturdy buttons. Please note that the laser cut key on some older models may not fit the news accordingly, so you may have to get the new blanks cut. This can be done at a local hardware store. O
