Why do the color and texture of the ghee vary sometimes?

This is not a flaw but a sign of authentic, traditionally made ghee. Its color may vary bright to pale yellow depending on the cow's seasonal diet, and the texture can be liquid or granular depending on ambient temperature.

What is the "smoke point," and can I use this ghee for deep frying?

A2 kangayam Ghee has a very high smoke point of approx 232°C–240°C. This makes it much safer and healthier for deep frying, and tempering compared to many vegetable oils, as it does not break down into harmful free radicals at high temperatures.

I am lactose intolerant. Is this ghee safe for me?

Most people with lactose or casein sensitivity can safely consume our A2 Ghee. The Bilona process removes milk solids , leaving behind pure butterfat. However, if you have a severe dairy allergy, we suggest consulting your physician.
