Actually I haven't used the camera yet; it's huge. It's more camera than I can use fully at this time. I was pretty aggravated on two accounts. As heavy as it is, it didn't come with a neck strap and the manual which is voluminous had to be downloaded while maneuvering malicious sites.

the photos with this camera are amazing. It is a bit heavy but otherwise would be perfect. The image stabilizer allowed me to take clear photos from a rolling ship deck. The close up function is amazing as is the long distance lease. The perfect camera for a great trip.
