Gibson Girl Wig

I ordered it to wear in a musical, and it fits the time period perfectly. (Victorian age)I have nine performances, and I feel it will hold up the entire run. If it doesn't, I'll come back to report differently. So far, I am loving it. My natural hair color is gray, and it matches it perfectly. In this picture, I am the one on the right.

I wanted to love this small wig but the hair was falling down from the top and promised to continue this if worn. This can not be repaired, making it defective! I contacted the company to return it as defective and they said they would refund me. I returned it exactly as requested, same box, packaging, labels, etc. before Halloween so there would be no question that I did not wear it. (I actually went with a beautiful "Scartlett" wig from Forum that stayed in shape, looked great and fit perfectly!) I paid $37.56 for this wig. I expected a full refund from this company as promised, BUT they did not. They only returned a partial refund, regardless of their promises. I am warning others of these deceptive practices and want Amazon prime to make it right. AND if you try to send this back because you just don't like it then you ARE screwed, read THEIR return policy, not posted on Amazon where they sell it. Signed-Still fighting for the rest of my money!

I bought this wig for an office Halloween party - I was essentially Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke. While I purchased the color sight-unseen (No photos of the Auburn color were available) I was pleased with what arrived. This wig is surprisingly comfortable and easy to wear - there are no combs or pins to keep it in place, but weight is high on your head, so it doesn't try to slip off toward the back. It does have a lot of volume, so be aware that it is a large looking hair style.All in all, very pleased with this wig!

I found this wig to be much larger and floppier in appearance than the illustration shown, and it also has begun to shed flyaway hairs already, making it necessary to keep the net on. I needed the wig for a melodrama character, and am hoping it holds together through the performances. I do like the color.
