Well-designed and tough tool belt, comfortable all day
I waited 18 months to write this review so I could speak to the biggest issues that a professional electrician considering this belt for daily use might want addressed. First of all, the build quality of the belt is very good. After 18 months of daily usage, I have no loose stitches or any spots where the pockets/canvas has worn though. The webbing belt itself may need to be replaced a some point as the grommets that get used all the time have started to get bent and elongated, but I consider this normal wear and tear and that's to be expected. It's nowhere near replacement yet, but I bet by the five year mark it'll be time. The belt is comfortable. I purchased the S-L size and have a 34 waist and the belt fits very well. I saw in one of the 1-star reviews the complaint that the belt was difficult to "break in". I did not find that to be the case at all. The padded back belt is very comfortable and the nylon webbing belt is pliable and snugs easily. The double row of grommets and double prongs make for a secure connection. I have worked with this belt on all day, up to five days a week, for 18 months and it has never given me any appreciable discomfort. I did have to adjust where the pouches land on my thighs (there is a 2-star review that notes this problem). Getting up and down a lot the front corner of the pouch would rub my thigh through my double wall Carharts and annoy the hell out of me, but I shifted the pouches back a bit and this stopped. As many other reviewers have stated, I feel the overall design of the belt is very good. The carry handles are great for carrying as well as hanging the belt from a hook. I don't wear suspenders often, but I keep the suspender rings on the belt and often use the front ones to hook a carabiner with my keys or my magnetizer to keep those at hand. The tape loop is nice. I like it better than the chain/tee style used on many other belts. I don't use the hammer loop, so I can't speak to it's function. See what others have to say on that one. As far as the pocket/pouch layout here's the thing: design is a touchy issue. It can be hard to assign stars objectively based on an opinion of the design. One person loves the size of the pouches, another says they are too large and the tools fall out. I found it just took time to arrange my tools properly and not just stick one pair of pliers in each pocket and go. Once I got all my tools in the places where I wanted them and got used to my layout, I can easily remove and replace the most used tools without even looking down. I do wish that there were some smaller, shallower pouches for small items, and I also agree that there could be better pencil/pen/marker holders on the "front" of the pouches. But, that being said, I really can't knock any stars off. The overall approach the designers of this product took to get it to this point was logical and the product functions well. For the end user, to each their own. Figure it out, or make your own tool belt...

Good buy
I'm an electrician so I've used every pocket on this thing now the belt is good and the right side bag is good left one is more of excessive or if you're going to have a lot of garbage or you need staples and screws and drill that's real nice mostly I use the harness with both bags if they're full or I take and just use the belt with the right side which is what I prefer. All in all very durable very thick very set and even has nice little lips you can kind of bend to set where you want on your leg if everyone's legs are different and sit in different places bags are also adjustable so you can set it wherever you want it could be in front of you or sitting around your thigh or just your hip or back.

Great for the money
I’ve been using these bags for about three months now, they’re doing a good job, they’re durable, they’re sturdy, and the pocket locations makes sense. I definitely recommend them. My only complaint after a couple months of use is that the grommets on the belt I have bent a little bit.

Solved my problem of a heavy tool belt that keeps sliding down
I do a lot of home repair and improvement projects mainly outside and usually up on a ladder or on scaffolding. I own a large old home that is over 100 years old. I carry various tools, screws, nails, usually a hammer, other supplies and sometimes my electric drill and driver are hanging somewhere on the belt. All this weight caused my tool belt to keep sliding down my waist and hips, so I was always having to pull the belt back up. It also caused my pants to keep sliding down as well which was uncomfortable. I wanted to find a solution to this since I was heavy into some projects where I was up on a ladder a lot. I have seen over the years at construction sites workers wearing tool belts with suspenders and never thought much about it. Figured they must have heavy belts full of tools, nails and screws. But the seed was planted in my mind there was a solution to my problem. I had seen professional tool belts sold in my local home improvement stores that came with suspenders that contractors might purchase, but they were expensive and the belt I had was not that old and had lots of pouches for the tools I typically carry. I didn’t want to spend significant money to replace my current tool belt just to get the suspenders since I am a prosumer not a professional contractor. I thought the suspenders attached to the belt was a great idea, so I decided to look for a solution. After looking at some of the suspenders being sold on different websites, I settled on the TradeGear as a solution. The price was right, and it had the belt loops to fit my current belt. The other thing it had that liked was a conveniently placed phone case. I was concerned it might not be big enough to fit my large iPhone, but as it turns out my phone fit perfectly. I ordered the suspenders for next day delivery and it arrived less than 24 hours later. Convenient! I fit all the belt loops to my belt and clipped on the suspenders, adjusted the length so my tool belt fit where I wanted it on my waist and went to work. Immediately I was realizing the benefits of this product and was delighted with my purchase. The suspenders are very comfortable and padded so they don’t dig into you. In addition, on the back of the suspenders is a metal ring that I didn’t know what it was for. But as it turns out, it is made just for hanging the tool belt on a hook when you’re not wearing it. Another convenience feature. Bottom line. If you know someone with a heavy tool belt, this is a great purchase to keep that tool belt perfectly positioned on their body. I have had this belt suspenders for over a month now and am very pleased with my purchase. It is everything I hoped it would be and do.

BAZINGA.
Wow. Just wow. I've had lots of tool belts over the years from hvac, lead cell tower technician, carpentry. This thing is awesome. As a residential electrician I have lots of tools to carry around and she holds them all and then some. Even with all my tools in it, she still fits in my Hart modular tool kit.

Comfortable, but better suited for light duty applications
Bought this to replace my well worn Ocidental harness since it was significantly less $$. But you get what you pay for, ripped after 2 weeks of use. Would be a nice harness for an electrician or finish carpenter with lighter pouches.

Pretty good product. Only dislike being vertically changed it could have done with a bit more adjustment for height. Seems to cater for very tool or very fat. Otherwise good product

Very strong and light weight....I really liked this product, I wish supplier provide suspender with it and can charge extra..., and there is no drill pocket. But , its amazing product for electrician.
