Instructions were not great, but packaging was amazing. No damage or missing componentry. Battery was charged, but I topped it off before assembly. During assembly, I opted to leave the seat off, as standing and leaning seems more fun and better exercise. My "Eco" button doesn't work, occasionally the digital speedo goes wonky. Frustrating that everything didn't work, but thankfully they were nominal. The upside, is an amazing ride, smooth comfortable and way more speed than I expected. I'm 57 and am fairly active, plan on riding the scooter to work and for occasional small grocery trips. Although I know I could ride with the traffic on some slower streets, I try to remain on the sidewalks or on shoulder of non-busy streets. Have had multiple days with 25-35 miles logged and no battery issues. Charges well at night when I sleep, always ready for fun in the morning. Last note: Brakes are EXTEREMELY sensitive, use caution as you get used to them.

"Not only was my YUME scooter the best price, it is fast charging, extremely comfortable and it's totally upgradable. Very easy to customize with the add-ons and pimp out your ride. Yume uses minimal nuts and bolts as possible so it's a quick preride inspection (f.y.i.even the first time out of the box). But what's priceless is the customer service. If any part fails it's nice to know that Yumi is there with a quick response and is going to handle it. They will get you back riding on your scooter. I have been proud loyal customer with Amazon since 2000. I've never put a negative feedback to anyone, so this is my first time. After I received this D4 scooter, I tried and noticed the acceleration was extremely fast and the brake too sensitive for this heavy scooter, I couldn’t handle the ride this rough so checked the poor manual and tried the setting to slower speed. Long story short, unsuccessful. I contacted US warehouse for a return since then I have received a very bad customer service, first they want me to sell it to someone else even though I had this scooter less than 2 days then they wanted me to pay for shipping plus the restocking fee which never mentioned anywhere on this item desc. After I paid for shipping it back, they received it and showed picture with damage LED but the batt level at half which I found it was not true as I have checked the battery level @ full before I sent it back to them. I have a nightmare with this D4 vendor fraud, and they’ve denied to provided pre-paid return label requested from Amazon customer service.

I really like this scooter. I ride it everywhere. It's very quick and I got it up to 57 mph. I can ride it for about 75 min before needing to charge it. Works lovely. Be careful with regards to the brakes they are super sensitive and you could get hurt so tap them lightly. Overall great scooter I gave my hoover to my 10 yr older

Updated15Spt21from1st original post!Overall the bike does what they stated which is reach a top speed of40mph!I end up getting the new model<the[D5]which is actually an upgrade>I actually used this scooter for a full day before I found it had a flat tire,which was due to shipping.The bike was easy to put together.Customer service was nice&helped me understand everything.However,bike shops fear fixing the bike&that's because the rims are in2parts!You must be very skilled at replacing the inner-tube as most fixing this type of tire will pinch the inner tube&your flat in an hour after repair!If you're in Chicago as I live in Evanston Illinois close by,Go to ELECTRIC SCOOTER CHICAGO1 224-817-7870as this man not only knows what he's doing,he has options like tubeless tires,which you should definitely get to ensure any potholes like Chicago has,won't stop you!I used him after bike shops failed to get it right!this time after research,I found that for these types of scooters you have to go to an actual mechanic.Therefore,I hope people will save&buy if your interested in a bike that goes40miles an hour.i can't claim it goes40miles per charge,however,with the replacement<D5>coming I will find that out!if it wasn't for the stupid flat,I'd be riding in Chicago with good weather and I get to stay away from all the criminals on the ReDLiNe public Transportation system!Chicago Democrats love allowing the criminals to control the public transportation system!Robbery, shootings&all drug sales all day everyday,so I use this option to stay away from possibilities of getting murdered on CHICAGO TRANSIT AUTHORITY as we seem to be in the news often for them killing each other or missing their targets&killing kids.Saves on gas ⛽ as well,does not go over50miles an hour so no need for plates&stickers.Saves thousands a year in tickets, stickers,registration, plates,gas,you can't go wrong!pays for itself in no time!

Pros: Fast as described. I pass cars going up steep hills.Long battery lifeGood brakesFast seller response timesCons: QA Not fully assembled or screws not tight out of the box. If they go through the process of putting them on why not tighten them? Screw to the voltmeter/ignition was not there at all. Seller is sending a new one.Charge time is about 6-7 hours. Took 6 hours with 2 bars left. Not a deal breaker for me, just a note.According to Google maps my trip was 13 miles (steep hills and full throttle the whole way) and i have 2 bars left. Still pretty good considering. I weigh 180lbs so on steep terrain you should get about 15- 20 mi range with dual motor and turbo mode.The D5 may be a better option for not much more. Overall good scooter.
