Does the job
I make my own yogurt, but had never tried making kefir before. I had read about its benefits online and after looking at how to make it on You Tube, I decided to try it. I sent for these grains. They arrived in a small packet with a very nice note from the producer explaining how to make kefir and to email if there are any problems. It is so easy to make. I immediately put them into a small jar with some whole milk, left it for about 15 hours (anything between 12 to 24 hours does it), and voila! some lovely kefir. I like it thick so 15 hours or so seems to do it for me. I am not keen on the taste of just plain yogurt - have to add honey - and expected not to like the taste of kefir. It turns out that I do. It doesn't have quite the sourness of yogurt and I really like it. And the grains just keep on working, unlike yogurt where you have to keep buying live yogurt to make it, so its much cheaper (and no electricity either). I add fruit - whipped blueberries banana etc - to it also for breakfast. So I will continue to make kefir - am going to experiment with coconut milk next.

Wonderful and easy to use.
If you’re into Kefir I highly recommend this one. I used to buy store bought Kefir drinks and yogurts each week spending a smallfortune!Since I got the Kefir grains I’ve been making my own saving a lot of money but also making my homemade on is free of all the preservatives store bought ones have which is so much better for your gut.

Fantastic quality
I tried another brand before, but these are better. After delivery, they worked well just following the instructions. Before going on vacation, I stored them in the freezer in a small plastic airtight container for 10 days, and they reactivated almost immediately after 10 days. I use use semi skimmed pasteurised (but not uht) milk, glass jars, a stainless steel spoon and a plastic strainers. Each night, I remove the grains from the batch prepared the previous night, using the sieve. I store the filtered kefir without the grains in the fridge, in a glass container with a loose cover, or with an air valve. I then place the kefir grains in 500g of milk in a glass jar covered with a cotton muslin + a rubber band, to repeat the process the following night. Each morning I have fresh, delicious kefir from the fridge for breakfast.Much less acidic then yogurt, and no plastic yogurt containers, so also better for the environment.

Very prompt arrival (still awaiting results so rating is neutral)
Expected delivery was Monday (4 days) but it arrived on Friday under 24 hours from placing order, appropriately packaged, and with straightforward instructions for usage.Made it up immediately and awaiting results hence rating given could be way out.If I had been unable to use immediately, it would be nice if the instructions gave some idea of best storage practices and timescales for keeping.

Wonderful!
I left a review earlier for the fantastic seller as the grains arrived sooner than expected beautifully packed with full instructions. The grains were hydrated, plump and well protected. Two days later I have amazing delicious kefir and another batch on the go, a fantastic product from the kind of seller we wish we had for everything we buy online. Highly recommend x

arrived clumped and inseparable!
It's a pity that these arrived 90% clumped together and inseparable. Only a tiny amount seem to have been saved from my first batch of yoghert and yet I did everything by the book. I will try and "grow" the grains I have left. It's a natural product so you don't expect perfection. The first lot I bought came in two separate bags which was handy. This lot only came in one bag. The nice thing about kefir grains is that you can 'rest' them in the fridge and even freeze them in some milk. My first lot lasted well over six months and I used them almost constantly - they spent a fortnight in the freezer when I went on holiday. Nothing beats the airing-cupboard, if you have one - a nice, dark reasonably warm place. I like to ferment mine for 24 - 48 hours. When you drain off the grains, do not 'wash' them, except with fresh milk or you will wash their energy away.
