I used this on vacation as a carry-on for a flight to hold travel documents, snacks, and devices. It held up very well, but I do wish it was a bit bigger for storing those documents. Nevertheless, the compact size was still nice for a Southwest flight. Would recommend!

I am a big fan of crossbody bags. I like black because it goes with anything. This one caught my eye because it's simple and had many compartments. It is lightweight and feels like it is made well.

So far, it looks like a well designed and constructed item, for the very reasonable price. Have to use it in several weeks when the heat wave moderates (I hope) BUT initially, it looks like a great item.

This bag has a large main compartment with three sub-pockets within it. The internal compartment is great for holding larger items like paperwork, maps, tickets, and even my Kindle Fire HD 8.9” in its case. The single large pocket within the main internal compartment lies against the padded back wall of the bag accommodates my large wallet easily, and the elasticized rim at the top keeps it securely in place and not immediately visible when opening the main compartment. There is a small “secret” zipper pouch within the single large pocket- perfect spot for emergency cash or credit card. On the inside front of the main compartment are two vertically arranged pockets, the lower of which is mesh. I use the lower one for frequently accessed items like cosmetics, nail file, pens, etc. The upper pocket is good to hold tissues and the like, a small hand mirror, hand sanitizer, etc. Two side pockets made of strong mesh material for up to 40 oz water bottle (up to 11” tall with 3.5” diameter) or fordable umbrella. There is outer front flap with a clip buckle that I used for my sunglasses when the side pocket was occupied by my umbrella. Built into this flap is a front zip easily accessible pocket good for thin objects, like key cards and a notepad. I tried to capture all of this in my review photos for your convenience. My iPhone SE (same size as an iPhone 8) fit easily into the pocket attached to the sling strap. Note that the sling strap can be easily changed to be either left or right side.I waited until I had a real life test before posting this review, and I can say this little bag came through a three-day music festival with flying colors- compact, lightweight, and able to hold everything I needed. I am very impressed with this attractive JERSEY RIDGE Crossbody Sling Bag in a lovely Purple color and consider it a solid value for the money.

It's been a while since I've ever owned a crossbody backpack and I am so glad I made this decision. This backpack is very comfortable. You can easily move the zippers without them getting stuck or falling off the track. You can easily adjust the straps to lay perfectly across your body. I absolutely love how there are so many pockets on the inside. It features two clamps on the inside to hook your keys so you're not fishing for them. For some odd reason, it has a headphone symbol on the backpack to insert your headphones. I just learned the purpose of that lol.My major issue is that I do wish the bag was a little bigger to carry my iPad. My iPad is 9.8 in. by 6.8 in. and I cannot zip the iPad in the bag without the corners blocking the zippers.
