Great teakettle
I've only had this kettle for a couple of weeks but so far I really love it. I use it several times a day and it has been a champ. I really appreciate that it has a stainless steel filter; no more mesh ones that get weak and rip after long use. It boils quite quickly and looks so nice on my counter. The only negative I have is that it is difficult to see the water level. I wish the indicator was on the side of the kettle and not behind the handle but that would interfere with the look of it.This is a great kettle and I am very happy with my purchase.

Seems well made; water level window almost impossible to see
This kettle feels well made (I had ordered a different brand of kettle previosly, and in addition to being defective, it was flimsy and the base would not sit firmly on the counter, causing the kettle to tilt and become a burning hazard, and so I returned it). This kettle is definitely NOT flimsy. It sits on the base without tilting. It just feels substantial without being too heavy to handle. It looks attractive on the counter, better than I thought it would, and it heats water fast and shuts off automatically when the water boils. It does a good basic job; simply heating water for our tea or soups. The interior is stainless, although not the underside of the lid, if that is a concern for you; the water per se doesn't touch it, but there is condensation on the underside of the lid. After using it for a couple of days, it still looks new, however I understand rust stains can happen with one's particular water quality Our water must not be as hard as I thought, because we are not getting any scale. There is instructions included on how to clean it, if your water quality causes scale. The outer plastic does get very warm, but not enough to burn; you can still touch it without incident. The opening is large enough and the lid pops open far enough to get our hands in there to clean. It does have a two year warrenty; hopefully I won't have to use it and find out if that process is easy or onerous. Now the con: the water level window is almost impossible to see. I knew this before ordering, because of the other comments. I ordered it anyway, because people were happy with the general quality of construction (The different brand kettle I previously purchased, as mentioned before, was flimsy and sat tilted on a base that would not sit correctly on the counter). We are doing what one of the other reviewers said they were doing, gauging the water level via the screws inside the kettle (see picture). 1/4 inch below top screw is maximum fill. 1/2 inch above lower screw gives us exactly two cups, based on the size of our cups. We fill accordingly, based on what we need the hot water for. Check out your own kettle in case it may be slightly different, and memorize your preferred water levels, because reading that water window is going to be almost impossible. Turn on every light, and hold it up to a sunny window, have your husband shine a flashlight on it, and jiggle it a little, and you might, if you're lucky, see where the water line is. Now memorize where that waterline falls with the screws on the inside.I used to do usability studies for a Fortune 500, and I'm disappointed they couldn't have done one to identify the water level window readability issue. I would have given this kettle 5 stars, if I could read that water window. I read a ton of reviews for various kettles, and it seemed this one did not break within a few months (I shall see), so I'm putting up with the window to have a kettle that doesn't break. Not sure why it's so hard to design a simple kettle that checks ALL the boxes (sigh). I would have been happy without the window and instead just have marks inside pressed into the inside stainless. All in all, though, it works well for our purposes.

Flimsy and Unsteady
This kettle might look good on the picture, but when it came, I knew right away - it is going back! It has a flimsy feel. It sits wobbly on its base. I did not like the cord. I had cheap plastic kettle I wanted to replace, I must say, the plastic kettle won hands down by sturdiness, overall quality, comfort of being able to see the water level, and pretty cord.

Love the color (red)
I liked the large spout as it's easy to pour or add water. Looks more like coffee pot than tea pot - not thrilled with that. Cordless feature is excellent.

Heavy and slow but looks nice
This is the slowest kettle I've ever owned. It's also heavy and hard to set back on its base. It looks really nice but that's about all it has going for it.

Gorgeous!
I luuvvvvvv my red kettle. I could hug it but I won't :) The appearance is high end and best of all it boils water in record breaking time. Very pleased with this purchase!

It boils
Nothing really special about the kettle, it boils water. The spout pours well, the lid doesn’t drip too much when you pour heavily. The view window is difficult to see

Lid and auto shut off stopped working
Bought this kettle in December and its now February and the kettle does not work properly. The lid is jammed shut so have to use the spout to fill up. Also, the auto shut off doesn't always work. To me this is a major safety issue so will not be using it anymore. Bought it for the sleek look but will go back to the tried and true B&D brand.

Beautiful kettle
I love the color and the style. A retro look without the heavy price tag. Do note this is a very light and thin kettle. The outside gets hot! You get what you pay for. Its cute and boils water.
