I recently saw this on a cooking show and it was highly recommended by the chef. He said tuna in oil is the way to go and he was right. I have always bought tuna in water and it's dry, this is not. This is the best tasting tuna I have ever eaten and I am buying it again. Not the least bit fishy because it's albacore tuna vs. yellowfin. Good right out of the drained can. Great in a tuna salad sandwich made in a panini press or pan grilled. Mixes well with Ranch dressing. This is something I will now add as a staple. Good tasting, quick and easy to prepare for a person who doesn't cook - that would be me. And yes, it is on the expensive side. Note: It does contain mercury so best not eaten by children and pregnant women.

My husband loves this tuna. I knew he would. Tuna, spices and olive oil. How can you go wrong? The taste of olive oil tuna is so much more flavorful than basic water packed tuna. I’d eat it to but I’m allergic to fish. Sad for me great for him..he doesn’t have to share lolol it’s kind of expensive but so worth it for the flavor.

Bought the fishwife albacore tuna in olive oil 3 pack 3.20z wild caught and hand packed in can (which had a soda top) This tuna came beautiful packed (nice enough to give as gift) and easy to open. I was pleasantly surprised of white color and fluffy texture and the most wonderful flavor without any thing in it, I added scallions some mayo and it made 2 sandwiches. I am buying again for myself and gifts. You must try.

Delicious and great quality tuna!

Pricey, so I will savor it and use it for something special...but easily the best tuna I have ever eaten. Clean taste, light smell and DELICIOUS. Comes in large pieces, which is nice. The only thing I would change, would be to make the portion size larger. 1 can is enough for 1 person, whereas the standard tuna from the store is good for 2+ people
