Bought this to save having to use my iPhone battery while listening to radio in the shed/garden. Great little thing. Much louder and clearer sound than you would get from even the most expensive phone. And it's only about the size of a small phone. The batteries last for weeks. The base is a bit narrow so I super-glued the bottom to a cardboard "drink coaster" and now I can place it anywhere without it tipping over! Great buy. Highly recommended.

With the recent removal of BBC Radio 4 from AM, my current (very ancient) AM/FM radio which is sans aerial, would not receive radio 4 on FM unless you were holding it ( so acting as an aerial for it ). This is a cheap alternative, which gives decent FM reception even with its aerial un extended, which is a must for the occasions when I use it. Its tone is good, ie not tinny, and it is easy to operate. Ideally, for my use, it could be somewhat smaller, but it is lightweight.

This is a great little radio. Old school but clearer. Great for detecting rf interference too.

This radio is great and good value for money if you want a basic radio to take places. It's easy to use, the reception is ok but you do need to be somewhere where you can get perfect reception. You do need to buy batteries as they do not come with it.

Good quality for the price able to get local FM Channels not available on digital.. Also handy in a power cut. Very easy to use..

Compré esta radio hace unos días y estoy bastante contenta con ella. Es pequeña, barata y su diseño es muy plano, lo que hace que ocupe muy poco espacio, ideal para llevarla a cualquier lado. Además, cuenta con una carcasa protectora para la rueda de sintonización (el dial), lo que es genial porque evita que se cambie accidentalmente la emisora. La calidad de sonido es bastante buena, especialmente si la usas con auriculares mientras estás en la calle. En casa, depende un poco de la zona; en algunas partes la cobertura no es perfecta, pero en las que sí tiene señal, se escucha muy bien. En resumen, por el precio que tiene, me parece una radio excelente. Relación calidad-precio: cinco estrellas.

Für den Preis absolut nicht zu toppen! Das kleine Radio hat mich bei meiner Sommerarbeit vor Langeweile gerettet. Der Empfang ist sehr gut, der Sound überraschend klar und es kann sogar richtig laut werden. Die Batterielaufzeit ist ebenfalls top – hält gefühlt ewig. Super handlich, einfach zu bedienen und perfekt für unterwegs oder die Arbeit. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
