I really like Oud wood, but many manufacturers can put too much of it, or the wrong balance woth other scents. This soap is only Oud, and in a concentration that balances well with the scent of the olive oil. It makes the whole bathroom smell amazing. Usually essential oils make my skin feel dry and tight, but the olive oil leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. Great quality and value for the cost.

The scent of this soap is literally overpowering. I could smell it through the shipping package! The label claims this is 'pearl' and I have no idea what pearl is supposed to be. But I have smelled this before, and you probably have as well. Remember those little bars of soap in the hotel room, back in the 70s and 80s? That was a specific and unique scent, and that is exactly what this soap smells like! Very nostalgic, very old fashioned. The soap itself cleans well, lathers up nicely. The chunky cube shape is difficult to hold onto, so I put it in a little soap saver lathering baggie. That worked out really well and I strongly suggest you get some of those if you want to use bar soap like this. The soap is very solid--it did not melt away in the shower and it should last a good while. Seems expensive to me, but it might shake out in the end if these do outlast commercially made soap that has air whipped into it. But that scent--really strong, and gives serious "old lady" vibes.

I ordered this because the description said "free from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances". I'm thinking that possibly the phrase synthetic fragrances is not well defined. But the label on the box itself says perfume is one of the ingredients. It's very misleading, the ingredients on the listing on Amazon are not anywhere that I could see, they do list "organic ingredients" but apparently there's more to it than that. The smell from this is so strong and overpowering before I even opened the box, I'm having a hard time writing the review. What's more is that even if it wasn't so strong it would not be a pleasant fragrance. I will not use this so I can't tell you how it lathers or how my skin feels afterwards. If you're sensitive to fragrances as am I this is not for you. It's a shame because it looks like it would be really good soap if it were not for that and for people who like the smell or are not bothered by fragrances it might be good soap.

The order comes with four small soap bars made from natural organic ingredients. They are scented with essential oils and can be used for hair , body and face. The amber scent i ordered smells more masculine. It is warm, powdery and a little sweet. The smell is pretty strong but both my husband and I like it. I am a little confused because perfume is listed as one of the ingredients on the product box. Hope someone can clarify that.

Decent lather but also doesn't melt away super quick, so you will feel like you are getting a bit more value from your expensive soap. Very pretty presentation with the design "stamped" into the top! The smell is on the strong side, although it doesn't linger. But you can definitely smell it in the bathroom, so if fragrances bother you this is one to skip. I like the health benefits of olive oil/mild soaps for the skin, and this brand is enjoyable to use/lovely to look at and smell. Two thumbs up!

It has a great scent, hydrates the skin well, and moisturizes, leaving you feeling very clean and smelling great as well. It is certainly more than the Irish Spring I used when I was single, but it is a much better soap as well - You sometimes get what you pay for and this is one of those times.

I chose this product because I like natural products, but the smell is too strong. If you open the package and leave it, you can smell it even if you are a few meters away. Then I opened the package and left it for 2-3 days and the smell was still strong. I feel like it removes dirt well, but I also feel like it takes away the grease. I washed my hands with it, but a little after washing, I noticed that my hands were very dry. It also left quite a bit of scent on my hands. This is not a product for those who don't like scented products.
