Nice thick mat.

Just as expected

It arrived a day early and I used it for an hour of pilates on a wooden floor. Mine is 13mm thick and plenty long and wide enough for an average male. It rolled out flat straight away and was very comfortable. It was stable enough that I did not topple when on one leg and has suffered no damage, I think it will last a while, if not I will update this review. I did get an elasticated carry strap with mine which works fine. Why only 4 stars? It did not wow me it just does the job.

Did not expect it to be so long as I was looking for the thickest material. The material is of good quality and it very long so even the tall 6 foot people like myself fit on this mat. It’s not got a strap or a carrying case like other yoga mats so it’s not ideal for travelling but it does roll up easily enough. I choose the blue Color which stands out pretty well and does not look cheap. The mat is very comfy and does not weigh much.

I bought this for £4.95 and I was well on the way to writing a 1* review because I thought there was no carry strap included, but it was just hiding from me so just make sure you don't make the same mistake because it's very small, (but perfectly functionable), and is hidden right on the very inside of the rolled up mat. I can see that the price has already jumped to £6.95, (just 2 days later) and I think this is still decent value. (I just got an absolute bargain). I was concerned that it might be short, (I didn't check the measurements before buying), but I'm a 6ft+ bloke and it's fine for me, so anyone smaller than that will have no problems with the size. It doesn't seem to be the best quality, but for this price I'm not complaining. It takes the edge off a hard/cold floor and that's just what we want isn't it. How durable it is remains to be seen, but it shouldn't get absolutely loads of wear should it? (My poor old body is certainly hoping not). I'm basically going to use it, roll it up and store it, (using the carry strap), and then unroll it when I use it again. It doesn't seem likely that general usage is going to wear it out, (but if it does I will come back and edit this).

I have been doing floor work on this most days for the last two months. I have a wooden floor and quite a bony spine and this is really comfy. Nor has it worn out. It’s full length for my 1.78 frame.

Not bad for the money. Quality seems Ok after first use for floor exercises/stretches, though it is a bit less dense than my old one, so doesn't provide as much comfort. Cheap enough to not worry if it doesn't last long, though no reason to think it won't.

Caution: you could fall asleep in child's pose! Thick and comfy, great cushioning, non slip, perfect for yoga, Pilates or just lying there pretending to stretch like the husband! 5 stars because my knees have never been happier!
