For my need for the camera, the right choice Fits well and works well. Definitely recommend..

Overall, charged it fully over a course of 10 hours and it's given me a great deal more battery time than the oirginal EN-EL1 that came with the camera. Of course, the mah capacity of these batteries is about a 3rd higher, so some degree of longer battery time is to be expected. Also, I bought 3 of these, but have not had a chance yet to test all three. Overall, judging by the first one, I think I'll be happy with this item.

I was thrilled to find a replacement battery for my ancient Nikon digital. (Guy at the store told me "they don't make them anymore;" he wanted to sell me a new camera.) My tech support guy found this one for me on Amazon. Bought it, popped it in, camera works. Not many success stories that easy these days. Only fly in the ointment is that the shipping is almost as much as the battery. I didn't have anything else I needed to order to get free shipping and I didn't want to wait until I did. My bad, I guess. Wish Amazon had sliding shipping fees for such low-cost items. But the battery is mint. Very happy.
