Cork Wood Yoga Blocks with Premium Designs, 2 Pack

These blocks have made a HUGE difference in my yoga practice. I recently started taking yoga 2 weeks ago. I practice at home (via DVD workouts and my Roku tv) and once a week doing backyard yoga with an instructor. I have mild cerebral palsy and use the blocks to help with my balance and stretching. This was my second set of Cork Yoga Blocks. My first set is a high end quality name brand and much thicker. Searching for something thinner, I thought I would try these out. Although they are a decent block, even for the price, I, personally, would not purchase again. The edges are easily chipped away by simple handling. Would be good for a first block but I have something to compare it to.

I bought these blocks to replace my basement gym blocks. It's a location I don't practice often, so I really didn't want to buy a second pair of my favorite dense foam blocks as they are a bit pricey so I thought I'd try these. I'd heard yogis say they prefer cork, so I figured I'd try them out - especially at this price. I didn't really care for the pictures on the blocks, but I chose the elephants. They look better in person. The important part to me was the stability and sturdiness of the blocks. I'm a 5'11" woman carrying about 50 lbs too much and with shoulder issues. I use the blocks often. These blocks never seem unstable. They are solid! They are heavier than my foam blocks, but I don't mind for how I use blocks. I wouldn't want them if I was doing a flow where you carry the block from one asanabto the next - for instance, pick it up as you move into warrior 2 (front hand), then move into triangle or warrior 3, placing the block down to extend the front hand. I'm really glad I took the chance on these though. In fact I see myself using them more than the foam ones in the future.

I am crazy for yoga blocks. I have 2 Manduka blocks that I love and decided to purchase a set for my boyfriend for his birthday. I decided to buy off brand to save some money (and because they weren't for me...). These are every bit as good as the Manduka version. I've used them a few times and love them. They are solid, and the right weight and size. Plus, the turtle pattern is pretty darn cute. The boyfriend has been very happy with them, too.

I read somewhere that someones block was starting to crumble like one would expect cork to -- mine are fine. Maybe its because I live in a dry, cold place, but mine do exactly what I need them for and are a fabulous size and weight for a 6ft girl. (Also, stacked, make for a great poop stool...)

Really happy with these blocks. Strong and stable and the corners are more rounded than more expensive blocks- they don't dig in as badly when used to modify a posture like bridge. I have not experienced the flaking mentioned in other reviews, and am very happy with the price and quality.Bonus: they entertained my toddlers for HOURS as part of an obstacle course. Way more useful than actual toys.

My first pair of blocks and I'm loving it. I was debating on getting them regular rubber blocks but wow I'm glad i didn't. These blocks are unbelievable! They are dense so they won't move around, they are made from cork wood and they are beautifully made. I preferred to pay a little more for better quality ! Thank you again Peace Yoga

These are very pretty and sturdy! I wanted something firm and this provides. They appear to be very nice quality.Incidentally, they're great for reducing leg fatigue as a passenger on a car trip! I always get restless and can't get my legs comfortable but rotating one under my feet to different heights was very nice! I may get some cheaper ones specifically for that purpose in the future so these don't get dirty.

I really like the quality of these. I was kinda worried my cat might scratch them but he doesn't seem interested, and I'm relieved as they are a bit pricey. They are fairly heavy which makes it difficult if you travel a lot, as I do. I

These are very sturdy and a great size. The only downside, which is no problem for me, is that they are quite heavy so would not be a good option if you are taking lugging to yoga classes. Great for home use. Well worth the extra money.
