I absolutely loved this book! The whole concept is so unique and entertaining - a guy transmigrates into a historical novel as a carp fish and becomes the pet of Prince Jing, a mute tyrant prince. The story is hilarious and sweet at the same time. Watching Li Yu navigate life as a fish while trying to help Prince Jing secure his position as heir had me hooked from start to finish. The relationship development between them is adorable and the misunderstandings (like Prince Jing thinking Li Yu is a carp demon) add so much charm to the story. I've been collecting this series and finally getting volume 1 made my collection complete. The translation is well done and the physical quality is great - sturdy binding and beautiful cover art. If you're into danmei, transmigration stories, or just want something fun and different, this is a must-read. Definitely recommend!

I bought this book for my summer holiday. It was a bit expensive so I bought it with a discount because it had light damage. Book looks good. Small tear on the back. Nice inside. I will buy more books with damage.

This is fantastic. First 50 pagess or so was a little difficult. But after that I had insomnia being absorbed on this book. I strongly recommend this series.

Je l’ai commandé par curiosité après avoir lu le résumé et aucun regret moi qui adore les histoires de transmigration je n’ai pas été déçue ! Je me demandais vraiment comment en étant sous la forme d’un poisson Li Yu allait faire et honnêtement surprise de voir comment ses plans tiennent la route jusqu’à maintenant ha ha L’évolution dans la relation entre Li Yu et Prince Jing se fait naturellement. Sinon j’avais peur qu’il y ait des moments de blancs ou un peu ennuyeux mais pas du tout ! On ne s’ennuie pas une seconde et franchement c’est très drôle, j’ai éclaté de rire plusieurs fois pendant ma lecture ! Je regrette presque de l’avoir lu aussi vite et je ne peux que recommander ce livre et je suis pressée de lire la suite parce que ce cliffhanger est criminel 😭
