Joy | Starter Bundle (2024)

I’m really pleased with the Cricut Joy Starter Bundle – it’s a brilliant little machine, especially for beginners or anyone who loves crafting and personalising items. It’s compact, easy to set up, and very straightforward to use with the Design Space app. I was able to start making labels, cards and small vinyl projects straight away. The starter bundle is great value because it comes with everything you need to get going, including materials and tools to try different projects. It’s perfect for quick makes and smaller crafts, and the results look really professional. The only thing to keep in mind is the size – it’s designed for smaller projects, so it may feel a bit limited if you’re looking to make larger designs. Overall, a fantastic starter machine that’s fun, easy to use, and great for everyday crafting and personalised gifts.

Love this so much and it was a great price. Cuts accurately and works really well. Fun and easy to use once you are familiar with it.

Absolutely brilliant wee machine. I wanted it for designing my own stencils for gel printing and it didn’t disappoint. It took only a few failed attempts to figure out the settings and then I was good to go. Had it mastered and set up in about 30 mins. I am very confident with technology though but if you just click settings to see what they do then you’ll figure it out. Plus there is online help galore - if you look for it. I am using yupo paper on the standard mat which comes with the machine and have it set on ‘stencil vinyl’ and it works just fine - see attached. The paler shape is what it cut from the black shape I fed it. I plan on making pretty intricate stencils so this will save me getting out my scalpel and going nuts! I have the trial subscription for their designs but might cancel that later. I know others have struggled with this machine but that wasn’t my experience.

So far I'm loving this. Pretty easy to set up, would have liked some instructions or more details on some of the equipment that came with it but figured it out with some online videos. I've been able to make some nice cards so far. My only gripe is that the app doesn't have many free templates/designs, most is only available if you pay for the monthly subscription.

I love this product so much. It is a great product to choose if you need a compact space and don’t need to constantly work on larger projects. The value for money is amazing as the product gives you free access to a programme to design and make your product come to life. The quality has been great for the things I make with it. I would say it isn’t very easy to pick up and move because it is so smooth, it does make me worry that I’ll drop it. I’d happily recommend this to anyone who is crafty.

Lovley produce and so easy to use

For the price paid, you get a toy. Where to start? The software is a disgrace. For the price you pay you would think the software will be able to cut two layer but oh no, god forbid it! You have to pay for subscription otherwise it simply will not cut anything that is more than one layer. The layout of the cut is terrible: you start with loosing a good inch of the vinyl to begin with which wouldn't be a big issue if the vinyl itself wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Than the machine itself: good little design. Compact and doesn't take up much space. HOWEVER the amount of times it jammed and absolutely destroyed the vinyl its unacceptable. The Bluetooth connection half of the time does not work - any other bluetooth related product works without issue with the laptop - which again, I could turn an eye to it but there has been 4 separate occasion where the cricut simply stopped midway through a project, lost connection and I had to restart the design because it would simply not connect again - which obviously destroyed the vinyl once again. Absolutely regret buying this and for anyone out considering getting one, look around for anything else because this does not worth the price, not one bit.

Love this, so compact but mighty. Easy to use and great quality. Don’t stand still to long or you’ll get labelled…

Very nice to start this happit but the largger printer is best

Ottimo prodotto. Semplice da installare. Molto funzionale. L'unica cosa che ho dovuto installarla su un sistema Windows per la prima volta. E poi successivamente sul tablet android. Per il resto credo che sia una macchina che supera le aspettative.
