Get the correctly powered charger for your laptop!
HP Envy requires a 200w charger (or at least my model did), and it refuses to take a charge from a lower rated charger despite the connector being identical. The laptop pops up an error message when attached to the 65watt charger and refuses to play.Fast forward 24 hours and a collection & instant refund for the erroneously ordered 65watt device and the 200w fires up my gaming laptop. Bonus - the charger is probably cooler than HP's original.Hope it lasts.

Description lied about compatibility
The list of compatible devices for this charger was very, very long and did include my HP Elitebook 840. However, this charger DID NOT fit the laptop nd therefor certainly could not charge it. This is not the first time this has happened. Chinese source...hmmmm

Good charger
Does the job it was made for, and charging speed is good. The fit is a little loose but I find most chargers have this issue, although it doesn't yet affect the connection.
