Dyna-Glo DGB495SDP-D 4 Burner Open Cart Propane Gas Grill

We moved in to a new place and since I tossed both my charcoal and propane grill before we moved into our LAST apartment I needed a new one. I was going to get one at Walmart, I DID actually. I paid and then went to load it into my cart and they told me I could not. They said I needed to wait for someone, and it would be 10-15 minutes before an employee was free to help. Look, I get it, safety and such. But when a customer is willing to risk getting hurt, thats not on you. I wanted to load my grill and take my toddler home. So when they said I could not, I told them to return it. I got my money back and walked out with my kid. When I got home I looked on Amazon for a grill and found a few that looked good. I settled on this one, and I'm very glad I did. It is very easy to put together, and extremely sturdy. I have never once used a side burner on a grill but I imagine for those that do, its a convenient thing to have. It works great, and the grill plates feel very heavy duty. I purchased the cover for it to protect it from the weather here in upstate NY. I am very pleased with this grill and hope that with proper care it will last me a good number of years.

We were looking for a new grill and I am so happy we decided on this one. I was weary about risking $230 on a grill chance. We wanted to upgrade to a 4 burner but the competition was in the ~$350 range for anything reasonable. It's one thing to buy a cheap grill it's another thing to buy an expensive cheap grill, if that makes sense. But after taking a look at the BTUs and BTU/inch (104), other reviews, and over all design we decided to take a chance. I felt the other grills were simply too expensive for what they offered.The grill comes in one huge box (90lbs) good sign, heavy box, heavy construction. But with a heavy box comes shipping issues. The packing of the grill in the box was done very well and each part grouped or labeled. Comparing the parts to the ship list it matched exactly down to the screws. In the spirit of transparency there was a small amount of damage to the right side grill wall as seen in the last picture. The wall does not interfere with the open/closing of the lid or anything. Seems it got scratched by some other part during transport but never figured it out.Assembly was easy, there were no issues at all. I did use a small power drill to help with the screws and did use loctite on all the bolts because it will get a lot of use. The instructions were clear and concise. The grill was manufactured well and there were no issues with alignment of holes or fasteners. As shown in the one photo. (The camera is angled and not straight on to make it easier to show)I can't speak for the 1 star ratings and based on my experience either Dyna-Glo improved the manufacturing process since then or they had some weird anomaly. Because based on my experience this grill is awesome and I am trilled with how it looks and how it cooks. Can't wait for the first BBQ of summer!

9/25/22: Overall very good grill, good instructions, easy assembly. A bit of an issue with flare ups. Bought a rotisserie kit on Amazon warehouse works great.Follow up 7/1/24: Large drip pan (closest to burners) is already done. Grease trap fell off due to rust. I’ll need to get a replacement - A decent galvanized one is about $29. I’m still happy with this purchase.I’m still sayin: keep those burners on low. Grill puts off great heat and is deceptively hot!

This gas grill is ease of assembly and we had a nice cookout with no issues.

I almost didn't purchase this grill because of the bad reviews. I am someone that reads reviews before I do a lot of things...make purchases, stay in hotels, go to restaurants. So many of the reviews say how hard this was to assemble and how the pieces didn't fit together correctly. But I also read the reviews that said how easy it was to put together and that the people that couldn't get it assembled were trying to assemble it backwards. But I loved the look of the grill and the price, so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did! The grill is HEAVY so you may need help moving the box. But I immediately loved the look of the grill. It looked just like the pictures on Amazon. It felt to be pretty sturdy and well made and I loved the heavy cast iron grill plates! The pieces were well marked and the hardware was even nicely packaged and well marked. I followed the instructions and assembled the grill by myself in about an hour. All of the burners lit easily and it seems to heat evenly. I am very happy with it!

It cooks good. Decent quality materials with the exception of the drip pan which fell off after just 5 months of light use, the rivets just didn't hold up. Hubby was able use screws to affix the pan to the tray. Customer service reply simply said "Call to place an order", so apparently I can order a replacement, which is an option if the tray completely rusts out

This is an awesome BBQ. Great deal also. Instructions are pretty easy. Final product is great. Looks good and operates nicely; everything comes apart for super easy cleaning!!! Would highly recommend. Minor manufacturing dent in one of the side pieces fixed with a rubber mallet did not affect final look or fitting. Even better if u have your own socket wrench but one included works fine.
