Opposites attract... or do they? Workaholic Katherine and free-spirited singer Ali have disliked each other since college. But fate keeps bringing them together and the paths of their lives keep crossing. Are some differences in personality simply too vast to overcome? Or are some things just meant to be? Find out in this light-hearted but epic new book from best-selling author Harper Bliss. If you love a deliciously slow-burning lesbian romance, The Road to You is sure to satisfy! Review: Deeply satisfying! - Sometimes roads are long and winding and other times, short and straight. Fortunately for us, who love Harper's writings, this road is not short and there's no straight about it either. Katherine and Ali couldn't be more different and right from the start everything about the other rankles. As college students, Katherine is hard-working, determined, striving to be perfect. Wealthy and privileged Alison is just out for a good time. One act by Alison ensures that neither girl will forget the other. Their paths cross from time to time but it's not until their respective best friends hook up that the dynamic changes. Katherine's life is not quite so perfect and Alison is not quite the wastrel she was. Time goes by and time goes by and you, dear reader, will wish that they could see what is becoming so obvious to the rest. A satisfying slow burn, indeed, but with some sizzling moments and a fiery end. As always, beautifully presented, written, edited and proof-read by the inimitable Harper Bliss. Another one to add to my favourite book collection. Five stars. Review: I read this in a day - Wow! I read this in a day. What a brilliant refreshing read for a romance. I'm a fan of a slow burning romance. They can be tricky to write as the build up is that much bigger and sometimes the reader can be left disappointed. I loved that the story was spread out over 18 or so years. I love how I loved both main characters even though they were massively different people. When I first started reading, I couldn't think how these two characters could come to like each other but as the story develops you see what it is they like about each other and have noticed about each other over the years. I read and read, I could not put it down until they got together. Once they got together I was waiting for the typical romance fall out and get back together again and was ready to skip a few pages, but it didn't happen, it ended just at the right time. It's one I'll definitely read again.

A good read
For me this book took the first half to get going, the jumping between the characters point of view and the time shifts meant I had to pay close attention! But the second half I loved.

Outstanding
This is the story of Ali and eventually Katharine, which takes place over so many years that you begin to wonder if they will ever make it. I found at times I wanted to scream at them and then let them just be I really enjoyed this book and if you want to know what happens to the pair of them read the book !!!!!!

Harper at her best
Brilliant, This was set over a period of years, with many other people popping in and out of the relationship between the two main characters, just what you would expect from Harper, full of twists and turns and FINALLY the best ending in the world, I loved this book and just couldn't put it down it kept me up all night as I just had to finish it. Well done

Loved it
This is the first book I’ve read from Harper Bliss, and it definitely won’t be my last! I loved it so much. They way it's written, the beautiful story line, and the characters you can picture perfectly. Certainly rereading this in the future.

Great Lovestory
I don‘t know how she‘s doing it, but every book of Harper Bliss I‘m reading I can‘t stop. She has a way of writing that takes you into the story so you can‘t put the book away. This story is going for a long timeframe, but it makes Ali and Katherine only worth the wait. And absolutely great book.

Loved it!
This felt true to me. I related to the evolution of the characters. I hope somewhere, I have an Ali that is meant for me. Or that I am someone’s Ali or Katherine. I certainly feel like my road has at least been as long as theirs.

touching and beautiful tale
A story of love and the journey to it, this is a highly enjoyable, low-angst and emotional tale. Told over the course of 18 years (with a very cute prologue from before that), it touches on moments in their lives where their paths cross, and the various interactions and relationships that they had over that time, and how that shaped them as they go from enemies to friends and then lovers. It's the kind of tale that make you feel for and with the characters, care for them, and cry at certain moments. Beautiful, touching, and an easy story to love.
