Small but mighty
Amazing quality little tv. 32" in white is actually so pleasant on the eyes and the picture quality (of certain aps and channels) is really top notch! Sound quality is a bit meh, but to be honest it's not a big deal because the tv is on in the background or to keep kids somewhat happy so they're not fussed. Takes a bit of time to log into or log back into aps ect. And as long as you know what you're looking for is all straightforward if you can scan qr codes, if not you'll have to use the remote to manually type things in using the remote. Super easy to plug in. I've had a previous LG smart tv so acquainted with certain aspects of it especially the remote and the button placement. Worth the money? Yes. But not worthy of £279 , I was lucky and found one, used but in amazing condition so price way lower. As of now I have no complaints, but we shall see down the line.

L.G. 32" Smart TV
I purchased this T.V. on Amazon Prime Day as I thought it seemed like pretty good value for a 32" smart T.V. from L.G. who are a leading player in the T.V. market. Bought to replace an aging Polaroid 24" HD T.V. and an ancient Huawei "You View" box which was a freebie from my old broadband supplier donkey's years ago. It was painfully slow and had issues with screen freeze which required rebooting every couple of weeks or so. Rebooting took about 5 minutes and it was becoming a bit of an annoyance. This smart T.V. is a revelation compared to my old 24" T.V. and set top box. Gone is the lag in boot time, and the T.V. menu and access to your apps is almost instant compared to my old set up. It does sometimes take a few seconds to load some of the T.V. programmes in the T.V. guide, but compared to my old set top box, it is lightening fast. The Web OS interface is easy to use and you can access different apps via the web store. Very easy to set up out of the box by just connecting the T.V. to your WiFi and aerial, and you will need to sign into your different apps, but I found it a relatively painless and pretty straightforward. I did read quite a few of the reviews before purchasing this T.V. and one thing that kept coming up was that the L.G. standard remote that comes with the T.V. is a bit "meh". This did prove to be the case, but I took a punt and ordered an L.G. "Magic" remote from Amazon which was about £20 and it works perfectly with this T.V. Much better and easier to use than the one that came with the T.V. It has voice control and a mouse type pointer and scroll wheel which makes it a lot easier to navigate the operating system with. Definitely worth the upgrade from the L.G. standard remote which comes with the set. One thing which is a little annoying compared to my old set top box, is that you don't seem to be able to select programmes from the T.V. guide to watch as catch up. Also accessing the list of programmes which have already been aired is awkward and not just a matter of scrolling back to the left of the timeline from the current programmes. It doesn't seem to have live playback so you can pause the T.V. programme, make a cup of tea, and return the the programme by pressing play. This was tried with a USB flash drive inserted for storage but it kept saying "storage device not compatible with live playback", or words to that effect. I ordered a PCIe SSD to use in an external enclosure via the USB-A input with a USB 3.2 cable and it seems to have solved the problem although it did cost an extra £30. At least I can access live playback now. This is a decent smart T.V. for the price I paid (about £130) and it is a lot faster than my old set up. I am happy with the full HD resolution but it is only available in HD terrestrial channels for BBC, Channel 4, ITV3 and Channel 5. All other terrestrial channels are not as crisp and well defined although you get the full resolution in apps. Apart from that this is a pretty decent T.V. for the price I payed on Amazon Prime Day. Some features, or rather the lack of them, are a bit annoying, but overall I am happy with my purchase.

Great value for money
An excellent little television. Full of features. Works with antennae or direct from wifi. Picture and sound quality is good and also easy to alter to suit the viewing environment.

Smart to both look at and use
Bought this to replace an older, thicker black 32" in the bedroom. I love how thin and lightweight it is and the white border makes it look so minimalistic. The smart features are good but I use it with my Fire stick so I can't say I've really experimented with the in-built system other than sound and picture which are both excellent. The remote is a weird setup though. It's difficult to distinguish the buttons in the dark but luckily my fire stick remote controls the TV volume and channels too set I don't need to use the remote the TV comes with. Overall a recommended purchase

User interface tediously slow and clunky
I bought the latest 2024 model. My wife wanted a TV with a white bezel for the kitchen! Most TV reviews focus on the picture quality. But I think usability is just as important. This TV has a good picture but has deficiencies in the TV interface. The program guide can take several seconds to appear each time. And often the TV sound and picture stop until the guide is displayed (or dismissed). It sounds trivial but is something we use quite a lot and is incredibly annoying. My feeling is that the TV has a slow, cheap CPU that can't multitask properly and it probably has too little memory to store the guide as it is retrieved every time. In addition, unbelievably, there is no Info button on the remote. So if you want to get a brief description of the current program, the only way is to bring up the guide, with all the problems previously mentioned. I could also go on about things like lack of an Exit button to get back to live TV from an app. But you get the picture. Overall the user interface is tediously slow and clunky. I have TVs that are many years old and have a better interface. On a modern TV this is just unacceptable. Modern manufacturers seem to be ignoring live TV and focusing on apps. This is plain stupid, especially on a cheap TV like this which will probably be used by older people, in kitchens etc. In any case, I won't be buying LG TVs in the future. I'll stick with Samsung which has a good user interface and an excellent picture.

Ideal bedroom telly
I bought this to replace a non-smart Sony 32 inch TV, which was probably around 18 years old. Despite the screens being essentially the same size it’s hilarious how much smaller and lighter this LG TV is. I was initially looking for something slightly larger, but there are really no good options in between 32 and 42 inches. Now that it’s in our bedroom it’s actually the perfect size. I also wouldn’t have set out to buy something with a white bezel. but it actually fits the bedroom fairly well. We don’t even have this plugged into an aerial; it’s only being used for streaming services. It’s all very easy to set up and there is a good choice of apps already installed. Given how cheap this is, the picture is actually pretty good. It’s very sharp although the colour and contrast are somewhat lacking if you’re used to a modern OLED screen.

Bargain
Surprisingly a great TV. I bought it for working away, but it's actually a great little TV, yes it's deeper than it probably should be, and it's white... But the picture is actually quite good and the menus are basically Google TV so easy to use. I'm fussy with TVs but this one is actually a bargain.
