Certainly a good first impression
Read the instructions. Follow the instructions. Wear gloves, and old clothes. This stuff is black and sort of oily...but in a good way. use a small applicator to get into all the crevices, both with the prep liquid (isopropyl alcohol from the dollar store) and then for the solution. You do not need much at all. Not sure how long the 'new' black will last...but it looks great on the car. Recommended.

Restores Vinyl Trim Like New
The product worked exactly like it was advertised. It was easy to apply but I still followed recommendations by other users to mask off painted areas, making it easier to keep things clean and tidy. In fact, it took longer to mask off painted areas of the bumper than to apply Solution Finish to the vinyl top cargo protector of the rear bumper. The refinished trim looked a bit glossy at first but softened to a low luster in just a few hours. After a couple of days, it looked just like it came from the factory. I bought the 2 oz bottle but used only 15% to do the job, restoring a very faded vinyl trim to factory finish. This product goes a long way. I guess time will tell how long it will last. Definitely highly recommended.
