Green tea in capsule form, take on an empty stomach to maximise absorption
People take l-theanine for stress relief, and taking one of these capsules could save you the stress of drinking at least 10 cups of green tea! Unlike green tea it shouldn't contain any caffeine, so won’t leave you feeling jittery. Not sure what makes it “non-drowsy”, but they don’t make me drowsy anyway. The bottle advises taking them on an empty stomach, presumably to maximise absorption into the bloodstream. I have consequently embedded them into my bedtime routine. The capsules are white, around 2cm, and I find them easy to swallow. The price is reasonable, they work out as about the same price per mg as the other theanine product I’ve tried. Research on l-theanine can be found on PubMed and other journal databases, and as the jar says, “consult your healthcare provider for dosages related to specific conditions”.

Not much L-theanine in this product.
I bought this product as I ran out of my usual brand of 250mg. It has some minimal effect but the quality of it is not that great. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Not effective
I didn’t notice any difference taking these, I persisted and took the full amount but no affect at all so I would look for a better alternative.
