Good strong line
This Power Steel line rated for 12lb holds well with a 12lb dead weight lifted repeatedly. Store this line in a plastic bag in a dark place.

Nest and Mess!
It is a strong line but not meant to use it on baitcasting reel. My line got tangles on every short distance cast and it pissed me off.

Ultima power steel 12lb line
Not the best in the world but if your only going on small lakes with plenty of stockies in it will do you just fine I use it for my barble rod as a main line and it's not let me down yet, just a thought though when you finish run it through a damp clean cloth to get any algi off
