Item is not very sturdy. I should have taken a picture of it before I threw it away. I went to close it and a few of "metal" prongs snapped. It wasn't worth asking for a refund.

innovation like this either works amazing or fails epically- this one is a success! I have a 2005 camry and this fits in my front windshield perfectly. I live in the desert, and my sun shade is usually pretty beaten up by the end of each year, and doesn't usually stay in the actual windshield. With the armature wire and the velcro strap, and the fact that this fits like a glove, I don't see this getting as bent out of shape. I love that it folds up like an umbrella and doesn't take up much space in my car. It did not easily fold down to the size of it's case, though I could probably make it happen, it did fold down to umbrella size very easily. I love it. We'll see how it holds up over time, but for the price, if it lasts two years, I feel like I've gotten my money's worth!

Have NO idea how I like it because I can't even get it to open up as shown. Save your money and temper and spend a few bucks more for a better rated one!

It funny .. this wasn't supposed to be FOR the earlier 2001 generation RAV4, but in fact, it DOES fit perfectly. One single pull of the handle, and the entire shade pops out; filling the window and fitting around the rearview mirror with no problem. Once the vehicle's sunshade visor flaps are deployed in the down position, you are fully blocking the sun's rays. The shade's handle is compact and short, so it extends just to the dashboard digital clock and does not interfere with anything. What a neat design! Only thing I found unpleasant is the slight smell of vinyl or something when it's brand new, but hey . ... Why cry about it? It's brand new! It works! It's awesome.Five stars, for perfection!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The media could not be loaded.  This item does not fit my car like it claims it does. I drive a 2010 Aveo. Umbrella handle sits on my radio screen with no support.
