Beautiful culinary addition to my kitchen. The wood handle on one side wasn't finished properly. Took a little sanding to finish it. Otherwise a nice knife. I collect knives so I'll admit I'm picky. The roughness is where there was a knot in the wood so understandable. Used it for the first time. Not terribly impressed.

This is a great knife. Blade is thick and heavy, all one piece from the tip to the pummel. And totally sharp as... The finger hole and the addition of the finger notch in the heel of the blade gives you a level of comfort and control that a knife with just a handle cannot compare to. This was a gift and I love it. Shipping was quick. It came with a leather sheath that is nice and substantial, but the knife is so sharp that I have notified the knife cutting through the leather. I foresee many years of using it. Great product.

The knife is incredibly sharp. I accidentally just touched a finger with it and found out the hard way. The balance is good. The handle is nice and long and aids in control (except when I cut myself). I wish they made a smaller version so I could carry it as my everyday go-to utility knife. The last thing I wish, which is never the case, is that there was a left-handed case.

I bought the knives, two of them, about a year or ago. I was VERY pleased with the quality of the knives. More importantly my Wife loves them!! She uses them over other knives that we have--if they are of the appropriate size to use.
