The wax is a little difficult to apply, but after I let it dry, I tested it to see if the leather was waterproof and the water just rolled off. I used a soft mustache brush to apply it as well as my fingers. I tried putting it in a microwave, but only used it for 15-20 seconds. I didn't want to melt it, as I was afraid that I would alter the texture, but it didn't soften much. I was also happy that it didn't change the color of my bag, which is a cordovan (tan) color. All in all, very happy with the results.

Used all the products according to instructions and the boots are water resistant, almost water proof! They clean up quick and easy with a brush. This is the best leather care system I’ve ever used. My husband said better than Uncle Sam! So there you have it! Boots look like new, the product is virtually odorless! Easy to use!

We bought this for my husband because we got him a leather bag for Christmas. He loved putting it on and thought it was also so nourishing for the bag. It has already snowed and has shown that it works.

The product works well and my boots look beautiful but be prepared for a workout. This wax as practically a candle so have something available to run across the surface (stiff brush, spoon, butter knife) so product can be picked up and applied.

It took me 3hrs and 3oz of this stuff to do a 2xl leather motorcycle jacket! I used a wooden spatula to apply and rub in the wax, then cleaned off any excess with a microfiber cloth. It still manages to rub off, it got on my motorcycle tank from leaning on it also my helmet. I’m going to wipe down with another cloth, hopefully that will help! geez this is messy stuff! I’ll update this in a few days. Update: this stuff is completely worthless! It does not form a waterproof barrier for my leather jacket. So now my jacket is waxy and wet. If I could give negative stars I would!
