Great Camera
This is the second Panasonic LX-10 I have owned, the first being destroyed during a catastrophic flood of my underwater housing. It is a fabulous camera and Adorama is a great provider!

Great value camera for a sophisticated point and shoot
This camera is solid and yet small enough to fit in your pocket (but it's a bit heavy at 300 grams). You will have a bulge in your pants if you carry it that way. I recently bought one, and am still sorting out all the functions other than its easy-to-use automatic mode. I am impressed with it, as before I had a "cheapo" $100 simple drug-store-bought point-and-shoot camera I used to death for many years. You can watch some of the youtube video reviews about this LX10 model which has been sold for some time already. Generally, it is rated quite highly, but as mentioned in reveiws, there are some limitations. For example, it is quite awkward to hold, and the surfaces are slippery, so there is a danger of dropping it. Wearing a wrist strap is a good idea, and also sticking on some non-slip theatrical tape in the places where you hold the camera with your fingers and thumb. Also, the re-chargeable (in-camera) battery tends to discharge quite quickly when you are out shooting photos (and looking at them once stored). Good to have a back-up battery. I have not figured out yet how to use the wifi function, but the SD card from the camera slips into my computer easily and I can download files that way. So far so good, and it is an easy camera to pack if you don't want to drag a lot of photo equipment around with you on trips. Like many point and shoot cameras, this Lumix DMC-LX10 Leica lens zooms between 24 and 73 mm, so it's not going to be capable of capturing distant wildlife (for example). Also, the microphone is not very high quality if you intend to record a lot of videos with this camera (although it does have 4k video). Also, it's best get a case for it, as it isn't weatherproof if you are walking around in the rain or in damp or winter environments. Overall, I am happy with this camera so far. It's a lot of camera for the money.

User unfriendly camera. Manual useless. Dials and markings bewildering!!
Owning this camera is a nightmare. Bumping into the touch screen is all but impossible causing it to go mad and setting the camera into a mode you never intended. Zoom is poor and only 3 to 1. In automatic plus mode, I got picture formats my computer has never heard of and can't display. Controls are so many and so close together, try to hit one button and you hit another instead. Very poor physical layout. This will take months to figure out how to use it and if I put it down too long, it will be months to relearn it all over again. You have a better chance of figuring out how to operate a moon rocket than learning the cryptic hieroglyphics in the menu. Don't expect to see English. The worst decision I ever made is buying this. I've spent more time needing to do a master reset to the entire camera than I have taking pictures. Horrible.

Perfect small-frame camera
I'm really loving this camera. Bought it for the macro capabilities (which are really quite excellent), but have found that I am using it as my go-to everyday carry for everything else. The post-focus function is really cool once you get a feel for how to use it (lets you change the point of focus dynamically after the shot, and works really well). Lens quality is what you would expect from Leica (nice!). I really have no complaints; very much what I was hoping for, plus a lot more.

I want my snapshots to at least be sharp and proper exposure
Some of the pictures did not come out very well!

Excellent camera - replaced my Sony RX100 II
This Lumix is excellent. It is the same size as my Sony RX100 II. But it now replaces my Sony. The Lumix take higher quality pics. And the pics are clearer. The sony would sometime take pics out of focus. So far the Lumix has been in focus every time including action shots. I recommend this camera over the Sony RX100.
