The camera case is plastic and while well assembled, is not likely suitable for any kind of contact/action- as a police officer might encounter)]. While the clip application is designed to have the display show towards the subject being recorded, it can be used with the camera flipped the opposite direction and the display back/against my chest so the subject being recorded isn't conscious of or distracted by the display.While I have a dedicated dashcam, I also carry this with in my truck in the event I need to record something else around/beside me while driving. I have not yet tested the motion/dashcam functions, but for it's price those features make it worth considering as opposed to a dedicated dash cam. The 256Gb capability of the microSD slot is more than most dashcams at twice this price can handle - it comers with 64Gb which I quickly pulled for extended recording time.The battery life has been more than sufficient for my applications, I have not needed it to record for more than 2hrs continuous but have no reason to believe the manufacturer's claim of 4-5hrs would be realistic. IF it had to be worn for more than 4-5 hours, I would suggest a small USB power bank to power while wearing or charge during downtime/breaks.The image quality in 1080p is excellent. While not a "professional video production camera" the images are crisp, flat (meaning no distortion/fisheye discernable) and likewise the edges show no vignetting/dark sides. Likewise, the sound quality of the built-in microphone is good but susceptible to wind noise.Likewise be aware that it does Loop Recording with maximum 10 minute video length. This is useful for locating and saving a specific incident and then using the WiFi to transmit just that segment for whatever application you are using it.The Lanyard Magnet is quite strong and the camera held tight through the shaking of a light jog... I might find a means of reinforcing with rubber band or tape if it was going to be subject to greater shock or the risk of falling-off may put it in peril. ie: mounted on a bicycle handlebars and falling into traffic to be run over.Overall this is a great value for a camera so versatile and capable.

At the current sale price of $36.99 this little camera has lots of functions in a mostly standalone package. First off, the price includes an entry level 64gb memory card (upgrade this asap, but at least it'll get you started). Second, the camera can attach a number of different ways and be activated a number of different ways.I have previous experience outfitting people with equipment that must be worn all the time and needed less than one percent of the time. There are basic qualifications that must be met or people simply won't carry it with them.It has to be easy to keep around. This camera is easy to keep on you. You can clip it front or back and it has the magnetic lanyard that turns you or your vest into a big magsafe mount.It has to be easy to start recording. This camera is easy to activate. Flip the switch up, press the record button, make it motion sensitive, there are lots of options. But, it's easier to accidentally turn it on than it is to leave it off. That's ok. More is more in this case.The recording is good enough quality.The live feed is pretty good, too.The light is white light (not night vision) only.The camera rotates front to back and flips the view with a physical button.There is a built in screen for viewing. This is the reason I got this one and didn't just settle for my older one. An on board screen saves alot of hassle.When you consider that a bodycam system can easily shoot over $2,000 this price is nothing by comparison.

I have a few trips planned for later in the year and wanted to get a video recorder that’s not expensive in case it gets stolen or damaged. Considering the price, this camera has a surprising amount of features.What I like:Both video and voice quality are clearCan be used as a camera, video recorder, or voice recorderComes with a 64gb memory cardGood size screen for playbackHas a built in flashlight for nighttime recordingComes with a magnetic back clip, a magnetic lanyard, and a bicycle camera strapWhat I don’t like:I wish the camera included some sort of caseThe camera and attachments are all plastic so they probably wouldn’t survive a major dropInterface isn’t the most friendly and took some time to get used toThe maximum video length is only 10 minutes

I am very happy with this body camera. I wanted something I could wear when riding my bicycle or playing tennis. This works great! I have had no problems at all with the features. I like the magnetic clip to attach and wear on the lanyard around my neck. I also have used the attached clip on my belt.The images are clear and transferring the images is a snap. I would highly recommend!

It comes with many accessories and clear and concise instructions.It can be clipped on the body or your bike or worn with the lanyard.It has many features and one touch recording. I love that it has wi-fi and I can connect to the app on my phone. It has a flashlight as well.I ride a bike frequently and the amount of times I’m approached by strangers is unbelievable. It’s also unbelievable how many times vehicles almost run me over. I have a GoPro on my helmet however I wanted to try this and I love it. We also fish under certain bridges and strangers come up a lot.This is a great and affordable option for many reasons. If you have occasion to need or use one of these this is a great choice. Highly recommend.
