JP Korsteel Stainless Steel Copper Oval Link Loose Ring Snaffle Bit

I bought this bit for my draft gelding. He had little training when I first got him, and had a very hard mouth. This bit was perfect for teaching him to be light and go into the bit. He softened up dramatically with this. It has been used 5x a week and shows no sign of wear. My only complaint is that it will pinch him when on the lunge line or if any sideways pressure is applied.

I used it with a horse I leased for several months - this particular horse tends to lean on the bit, which is why I went with this one. He was eventually sold - his new owner used a "D" single jointed snaffle on him and was having trouble. I gave her this bit to try since it doesn't fit the new horse I'm riding. She saw an immediate improvement. I only wish they made it in 6.5, otherwise I would buy one for my current horse.

Well made, good weight. Horse is happy.
