The Perfect Core for a Clean Daisy‑Chained Setup
This switch has become the central hub of my AV chain, and it performs flawlessly. I’ve paired it with an HDMI audio extractor and two short 0.5m HDMI cables to build a compact, tidy daisy‑chained system with zero clutter. The switch handles both of my input devices instantly, with no handshake issues, no flicker, and no audio dropouts. It’s reliable, compact, and works seamlessly with the rest of the chain. If you’re building a modular setup and want something stable at the heart of it, this switch is spot on.

SABRENT hdml 4k switch
So far, the switch is working with no problems. Quality of build is ok, lightweight. The device is functional and working as intended.it is extremely easy to use and setup. Just make sure all hdml cables are firmly connected. There is a manual switch, which toggles between the different connected devices. And a power indicator light, which is not detracting. The default is the left sided hdml port. Speed of switching is good. Picture quality is fine. Brightness is good. Though this also depends on the quality of cables used and correct signal frequency set. No flickering had been notice. Durability should be good for this switch.

Extremely reliable, study, but requires more ports, and pretty overpriced.
I needed the ability to ONLY switch a wireless keyboard and mouse between two computers As such I didnt need a fully fledged KVM, just a USB switcher. I have dealt with various USB switchers, and most non mainstream branded devices are pretty terrible. Either they are unreliable (often either disconnecting, or even not properly switchin) or downright harmfull to equipment due to poor seperation of signals and power. Some even use non standard connections (such as a USB A socket for INPUT as well as OUTPUT which not only is non compliant to USB specs (which are strict about that stuff), but also potentially harmfull to your equipment if you connect stuff wrong. I had earlier bought a Sabrent USB-C KVM for my wife, and was impressed with its quality and reliability so when looking for a USB switcher I chose this product despite being quite pricy for what it is, and also only havign one USB port (though in my case I only needed one). The product is definately well made and correctly uses full size USB B sockets for the Input. I switch frequently between the two computers, and it works well, never lost connection and has a little LED showing which input is connected. My only issue is a) its price, I cannot see how it costs that much to make but I guess it doesnt have much in the way of branded quality competition. My wifes USB C KVM which is also by sabrent, and has far more features, including a hub, video, and USB PD was not that much more in price. b) for that price it could have easily had 2 output ports, again see above.

Worked right out of the box for 3 PCs
I was originally looking for a KVM switch to hook up 3 PCs to one monitor keyboard and mouse, but they're expensive (I need VGA or DVI as well as 1440p HDMI) and reading reviews many of them seemed to have potential issues. So I bought a cheap additional monitor to use for work and and my old optiplex (I only ever use one of those at a time) and this box to hook up a keyboard for 3 PCs. I haven't tried 4 (yet) and will update if I get round to it. One wireless dongle for the keyboard and mouse (Logi brand) and just tap the wired switch to change between them. No appreciable delay in switching and no issues with lag in gaming (I'm not a competitive gamer, I think a wired mouse would be better for that anyway). No software to install, it just worked, even on my fairly locked down work PC. I did read that a power supply is needed for multiple USB connections, but as I'm only likely to use 2 at most (the dongle and maybe a memory stick) I've got no need. And yes I did plug in my 64GB USB drive and it worked fine so a cheap and cheerful way to move files (slowly) from one computer to another. Only downsides (mentioned in other reviews) are the fixed USB cables coming out of it which are a bit of a rats nest behind my PC and potentially a failure point if the plan is to move this device around a lot and a short lead on the switch to change between devices (the only way you can do it). I'm not planning to move any of my PCs or take this device anywhere so not an issue for me.

Perfect and works as intended
They work exactly as intended. The bottom of the control pad is flat enough to accommodate magnetic tape Another reviewer noted that the PC changes automatically. I have not found this to be the case. That must have been a defect.

Works… kind of.
This product is exactly what I wanted. I needed a USB hub with a switch and remote button. I use it between my main desktop PC and a Steam Deck. Super easy to setup and the remote button is mounted under the desk at the front, for a neat and easy solution to switch my keyboard and mouse between the Deck and my PC. However, every 20-30mins the mouse just stops working. I have plugged in a micro USB cable for additional power, so I don’t believe this is the problem. I think the unit itself is just faulty. YMMV, but be aware that it may not work completely. I’m going to give it a few more days to see if it’s an issue that can be resolved, but if not I will return it for something else. It’s a shame, because it’s otherwise perfect.

Good quality, nice idea with the separate switch just a minor catch...
Good quality switch, which was expected from the Sabrent brand. I like the separate button, which technically allows the hub to be positioned out of sight, if only the button part also had input lights... Minor practical omission that would have improved aesthetics.
