Gasoline caps ain't no luxury item when they're needed.
My "check engine" alert popped up and I immediately put my FIXD OBD app to use. It immediately told me I needed to change my gas cap. So, I did. All is well. I got the right cap to do the right thing.

"DOES NOT FIT SCREW TYPE..." as in many of the vehicles listed!
This Seller really needs to update their listing with the proper vehicles that this cap works for. It does not have the twisting threads required by many Ford vehicles apparently including F150, Expedition and ExpeditionEL. To be fair, the Seller states that it does not fit screw type caps in the details, but most people are going to rely on vehicle make, model & year without ever reading that far. DISCLAIMER: I got my cap free through Vine Voices, so I will update my stars when the Seller updates the product page with the correct information... if I notice.

Fit for 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
It's a perfect fit for the 2004 Ford Sport Trac. Seems fine in every way. I can't believe what they are charging for gas caps these days, but this was indeed cheaper than the ones at my normal parts places.

Doesn't fit

It does not fit a 2008 Ford F150. This cap has 3 little tabs, F-150s from 2004-2008 body type all have a 2 tab cap.

Snug Fit on Ancient Truck
My gas cap was getting a bit loose on my old 1999 Ford F-150. This three tab cap fits much more snugly and may solve a couple of code problems. Just what I was looking for.

Did not fit
Did not fit my 2008 Ford expedition. Claimed to fit my model vehicle but it did not. It visibly is larger and a different design.
