The UPERFECT 120Hz Portable Monitor 18.5 Inch 125% sRGB Portable Gaming Monitor is a great monitor. I was looking for a screen that my kids could use with their Nintendo Switch in the car, giving them a bigger screen than the one on the Switch. It had to be big enough to give each player a good size ¼ of the screen in a 4-player split screen, but not so big I couldn’t see out the rear window when it was fitted. It also needed to be thin to sit flush with the backs of the front seats. After looking at a lot of different portable monitors and sizes, I went for this UPERFECT 18.5 Inch Portable Gaming Monitor, and it does the job perfectly. Using the included case which becomes a stand, the monitor sits nicely on the tray table in my car and the case seems quite grippy so it shouldn’t slide off when cornering, but I wanted the screen central and secured. The monitor has VESA mounting holes and comes with the correct length screws, so I purchased a small wall mount bracket with a locking screw and fitted it to the monitor with no problems. I attached the other part to a bar I had installed between the headrests, so my screen is now securely mounted centrally between the front seats. The matt finish of the screen means there are no reflections in the car, which was a major selling point for me as there is lots of potential for reflections in a car. The picture quality is great, and the brightness is good enough that the picture looks bright and clear when using it in the car on a sunny day. I had an experiment with some of the viewing modes you can select and found with it on full brightness you can get a bit more brightness using one of the viewing modes if you need it. The built-in speakers are good enough for Switch games and loud enough to be heard over the road noise. It has a speaker each side so both kids get the sound, but it also has a headphone socket so they could use headphones if they want fuller sound or you’ve had enough of hearing the Mario Kart music and sound effects. My kid’s headphones have an output socket so they can be linked together for them both to use headphones and the monitor drives them both with no problem. The volume button also works as the menu button, moving it up increases the volume and down lowers the volume. If you press it in, the options menu appears on the screen, which you navigate by moving the button up and down and pressing it in to select something. To exit the menu you press and hold the button for two seconds. This means there are less buttons on the side of the monitor which I think looks much neater. The technical support is great. I had a read of the user guide as I wanted to find out the specs to power it from the 12V Cigarette Lighter socket using a USB-C Charger. I noticed the guide said contact support if you want to power it from a power bank. Being similar to what I wanted to do, I contacted them explaining I wanted to run the monitor and a Switch from the car. I got a quick response, and they even provided the power requirements of the Switch which isn’t event their product (the monitor can pass power through to a device and if a Nintendo Switch doesn’t get enough power, it won’t output a video signal via the USB-C port). This allowed me to pick the right car charger to power it all. I have a few HDMI devices I would like to use with it and though I would have to buy a HDMI to Mini HDMI cable to use them with this monitor but then I read in the listing that it comes with a mini HDMI to HDMI cable and two USB-C to USB-C cables, which saves having to buy them. I can confirm these cables are included in the box, along with a mains adaptor. Making this monitor ready to go out the box and a great buy. My kids love it. If you want to use it in a car, I can’t put links, but the car charger I used is a “UGREEN 130W Car Charger USB C Fast Charger (with 100W USB C Cable)”, use the 100w USB-C socket on it. Good plug 'n play portable monitor with great display that is an excellent working addition to a laptop, whether travelling or working from home. Sound is perhaps better for conferencing than streaming. Power requirements may necessitate two cable connection, either both to different ports on the laptop or one to a mains supply via supplied power adaptor. UPerfect Support Team provided a very rapid response with clear information and instructions provided when contacted regarding an issue that arose on a business trip with a new computer, which solved the problem.

Firstly before we go on - what a great monitor this is. It was well packaged in very eco friendly packaging mainly of paper based material. The box itself is very sturdy and worth of a mention. It is nice to see the amount of recyclable materials in both the packaging and the monitor. It came with 2x USB C cables plus an HDMI to mini HDMI cable. This is nice to see a manufacturer thinking of these items as many a time you buy a product only to realise that you need extra cables to actually benefit and enjoy your new gadget. Also quite handy was the inclusion of 4 screws for the VESA mount on the reverse. The included cover which doubles as the stand is attached by strong magnets to the rear of the screen which are more than capable of holding the screen secure, then when you want to put it away it wraps around the front to protect the screen. The stand has only one angle but it is suitable for everyday work. The screen all 18.5" of it is clear and easy to read in all lights. There are a wealth of menu options to adjust to your desire, including colour temp, brightness, saturation etc. Although this can run off of one USB to your PC it is recommended to have one attached to a power source. But don't panic there is a UK power block in the packaging - so you don't have to hunt one down. The manual in the box is easy to understand and includes images to make it even simpler to set up. It has weight to it but not too much to make it hard to carry, the casing is a sturdy plastic with a nice texture to the front. The bezel on the screen is around 5mm and does not encroach too much on the actual screen size. The display itself has a mat feel and does not reflect any light. My pictures are taken with a fluorescent lighting right above my head. Playback on videos is good. The blacks are black, and the overall image is sharp with no ghosting. The built in speakers give you option of playing through these rather than your built in laptop speakers but they do lack a bit of punch. It does not get hot, and I use mine all day long, and there is no noise from the monitor itself. The onscreen menus make perfecting the image very easy and include all variants of options that you will need. I have been using the screen for the last couple of weeks and have had no glitches, issues or errors with the screen. The resolution I have set it to is 1920 x 1080 and the text is clear and easy to read. I use mine mainly for spreadsheets, emails, word and daily normal mundane office stuff, but have the ability as I work in different offices, to pick it up, stick it in my back pack and be up and running in my next office very quickly - with dual screens - and no hassle. Where in the past I would have taken my laptop to one of our offices, sat down and go find a spare screen, then the cables, and connect it up - normally at someone else's desk, this way I can sit anywhere without bothering people and without the hassle of connecting equipment. Should you invest and buy this product - Absolutely - I can not recommend it enough. If anything changes I will update this review, but so far I am very happy with my purchase.

Having bought the 13.3 inch uperfect previously, I decided to try the 18.5 inch version. Compared with the smaller screen, (which works very well as a small, very portable option - but also lacks sufficient screen real estate to work as a full-time monitor), the larger screen feels like a proper monitor that you could work from full time if you wanted to. The larger size does obviously impact the portability of the screen. Although it is heavier and takes up more space, it uses the same screen protector which doubles as a stand as the smaller version - this works well as it both keeps the screen protected and takes up little space as a stand. I bought my smaller screen in several years ago and have used it extensively whilst away with no discernable damage, it still looks the same as when I bought it. I took a picture of the 18.5 inch (centre) versus the 13.3 inch (left) and my surface (right), which gives an indication of the size difference. The larger screen just makes everything more easily readable. Another positive difference with the 18.5 inch version compared with both my surface and the 13.3 inch is that it is matt and not glossy - which makes it much better to work with in sunny or bright conditions, as you do not get the reflection. It is not perfect however: - The brightness level is on the low side. In the picture this is turned to it's maximum (whereas the smaller screens are not). - I'm not sure if I have set it up correctly, but the in-built speakers using the usb-c cable appeared poor - very low volume and a tinny sound. There is a separate audio port, it may be that using that would make a difference, but this wasn't an issue for me anyway. Overall, for my purposes it is ideal: it can still go in my bag, it can be powered by usb-c cable (which means less cables and power sockets required), and gives me a screen that feels like a proper work monitor.

I sourced this larger size monitor for times in which friends come over to play with their portable consoles. It works quite nicely and it comes with all necessary cables needed for the monitor to function. The monitor works at a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, which is quite nice for smooth portable gaming. There are a fair amount of settings that allows the user to customize the color temperature, the brightness, and other functionality such as FreeSync and auto input selection. Oa side node, if I could improve the product I would upgrade the speakers to something more powerful and rich, and have a metal retractable stand cut out in the monitor chassis. Ok peeps. Be aware. I’ve tried this monitor with everything apart from a windows device. So I will start with my Steam Deck with two power adaptors and did not find the screen so I moved onto my new MacBook Pro and nothing After I reset the settings on the monitor and noticed sound and a few screen settings changed. You can see in the images I’m on the setting to mirror and nothing. So I noticed lots of dust on the stand and then turned it over to lots of scratches. This is a return. Must be. Its a generic screen which is nice on HDMI but all my gear is USB-C so no good. When on HDMI no colour adjustment is allowed only sound that’s it. Pretty useless… my idea if your USB-C is pay extra

Très bon rapport qualité - prix ! Cet avis concerne l'écran 14,6 pouces car j'ai renvoyé le 18,5 pouces (trop grand pour ma sacoche). Je suis très satisfaite de l’écran portable que je viens de recevoir. Je travaille beaucoup sur mon ordinateur portable, en itinérance, et j’avais besoin d’un deuxième écran pour visualiser plusieurs documents en même temps. Mais je voulais aussi qu’il entre dans ma sacoche avec l’ordinateur, pour ne pas avoir trop de choses à porter. L’écran portable 15,6 pouces que j’ai commandé fonctionne parfaitement. Les couleurs sont vives, et l’image de très bonne qualité. Il est doté d’une coque de protection permettant de le poser à côté de l’ordinateur sans problème. Il y a aussi un trou pour le poser à l’aide d’un stylo, ce qui est très pratique aussi. Il est livré avec trois câbles (USB-C/USB-C, HDMI/HDMI et USB-c-USB-A) et un chargeur USB-A. C’est royal ! Sur le côté, il y a toutes les touches pour régler la luminosité, les couleurs, etc. L’écran est doté de deux ports USB-C et un port HDMI. Dès que je l’ai branché (USB-C/USB-C), mon ordinateur a détecté ce nouvel écran. J’ai juste eu à aller dans les paramètres pour configurer l’affichage. Cet écran correspond parfaitement à mes attentes : très bonne qualité de l’image, très simple à installer, pratique, et surtout très léger (600 g environ). Sa taille permet de le glisser dans ma sacoche sans problème. Mention spéciale pour l’emballage écologique, bien pensé pour protéger le matériel. Les informations sur le site étaient claires et précises, et la livraison a été rapide et soignée. Je recommande cet écran et ce site UPERFECT sans hésitation.
