Product Description Our organic Jujube dates are: 100% natural without preserving agents without any acidifiers or sweetener without colouring agents or other unnatural additives Description: Jujube berries are reddish brown, oval shaped fruits and are not related to the date. Due to its oval, elongated shape it is often given the name “date” (date berry). The berries contain a small pit surrounded by fleshy, firm fruit flesh. The flavour is mildly sweet to sourishly fruity, and highly aromatic. Some of the fruits may have a slightly wrinkled skin, but don’t be put off, because this, and the date berry’s characteristic taste, are what define the jujube. It’s what jujube enthusiasts love most about them! The jujube is tree-dried, resulting in the typical external appearance. Attention: Our wild collected organic jujube red date berries are a pure and natural product. Sometimes during storage and because of temperatures changes in the nature a white or grey film may appear. The jujube has a very fine and natural layer of wax outside which may change its colour and may come off after drying and during storage. This is a sign of best quality and proof that our juniper berries are untreated. This is under no circumstances a sign of minor quality.
