I’ve tried generic alternatives in the past, but I always seem to come back to the genuine Braun cartridges. They clean the shaver thoroughly, leave a fresh scent behind, and help keep the cutting head performing as well as it did when it was new. The cleaning solution removes hair and skin residue far more effectively than a quick rinse under the tap, and I’ve noticed my shaver stays smoother and quieter when I use the SmartCare station regularly. The alcohol-based formula also gives reassurance that everything is being hygienically cleaned between uses. Buying the 12-pack works out much better value than purchasing smaller packs, and it’s convenient knowing I won’t run out for quite a while. Each cartridge slots straight into the cleaning station without any fuss and works exactly as expected. A genuine Braun consumable that does its job exceptionally well and helps extend the life and performance of an expensive shaver.

Great product. I bought these replacement cartridges when I ran out of my previous ones, and they work perfectly with my Braun cleaning station. They keep my shaver clean, fresh, and hygienic, helping it perform at its best. Easy to install and long-lasting. Highly recommended.

When compared with other sellers, 6 of these "Clean and Renew" cartridges for £27 represents good value. This price is £3.50 per cartridge - while they are often £10+ each elsewhere - even on the "auction" site. These are genuine Braun items and last about 2 months each with a daily razor clean. ie. A box of 6 lasts me about a year. They clean and lubricate my Braun Series 6 razor and keep it running like new. They leave a fresh lemon fragrance. Being sealed, there is no "use by" date so they can be stored for extended periods I have used alternative refill liquids. A few of them (high in isopropyl alcohol) work as well. But, at this price, why bother? These are hassle free....

Genuine product at a reasonable price.

These original cartridges do a fantastic job of cleaning my Braun S9, to the extent that it feels like picking up a brand new shaver every day. They're easy to install, with a quick slot in / slot out process whenever one runs out, and they fit perfectly in the S9 cleaning station which sits nicely tucked away in a corner. The cleaning cycle runs quickly and effectively, with the wash and dry being over in just a few minutes, and then the shaver being thoroughly clean and ready to use next time it is needed. The cartridges last about 30 days, and in my experience they last longer when I wash every day and leave the shaver in the station while not in use. It's as if it reduces exposure to the air, and slows down the evaporation, but 30 days is more than adequate for me. Be careful when you pull the plastic bung before installation - you need to pull with a smooth and controlled action, and if you can avoid sudden jerks then you'll keep more cleaning product in the cartridge, so it will last you longer.

A name you can trust to do the job properly. I don't care about the scent and they last as long as they should. I hope they're recyclable but my shaver is hygienically clean.

Second expensive Braun shaver (£300+) owned to date (but have had so many brands over the years and last Braun lasted 15 years). To ensure it survives - I buy the original cartridges. I have tried man times to buy alternatives but keep coming back to these originals as the liquid not only cleans better but per litre (in this particular case), they can be purchased for similar money as the generic / refill versions which can require work to install. Pros: No messing about, they fit and they work well with the razor cleaner. 6 for nearly the price of 3 - is a real bargain. When used, the smell is citrusy and fresh. Cons: The price, I'm not sure why these are always so expensive (as they are basically fancy alcohol) when compared to other brands but they do work, so if like me, you want to keep your razor running smoothly - then these are the best.

They absolutely do not last two months. I have been using the system since 2017. All my orders have been from Amazon, so I was easily able to find my orders. Between March 22 and Jan 26 (and this excludes the Jan 26 order - I’m only counting the ones actually used in that time), I’ve used 54 cartridges or 9 packs of six. Over 46 months. That doesn’t count holidays (where the system goes unused) nor times when it was unused because they had run out (again). That’s 1.17 cartridges per month or 26 days per cartridge. Apart from the environmental unfriendliness and the cost, it’s a good system. But, Braun, don’t pretend that these things last two months. They don’t. Je suis très satisfait de ces recharges pour la station SmartCare de Braun. * Efficacité : Le liquide nettoie parfaitement le rasoir après chaque utilisation. On sent que le nettoyage est en profondeur. * Bénéfice peau : Depuis que j'utilise cette station avec ces recharges, j'ai constaté une nette diminution des boutons après le rasage. C'est un vrai soulagement pour les peaux sensibles. * Format : Le pack de 2 est pratique et offre une bonne autonomie. Je recommande sans hésiter pour prolonger la durée de vie du rasoir et prendre soin de sa peau.
