I used the GRAUGEAR M.2 NVMe USB 4.0 case with Samsung 990 PRO 4TB PCIe NVMe 4.0 M.2 Internal SSD this SSD well known as very hot temperature SSD and inside this fan cooled aluminum enclosure I was surprised temperature’s never reached 40C and always remained between 34C and 37C.

Built like a tank.
Solid build and speed is respectable with the 8 TB WD Black SN850x SSSD I put in it (2710.3 read & 2618.6 write). Runs cool as well. My only nit pick is that I can hear the fan. My room is pretty quiet and my M1 Max Mac Studio is absolutely silent - this is the only thing with a fan on my desk and I notice it. I may relocate it to my closet among with my thunder bay 8, but I'm wondering if it will still be cooler than my Acasis enclosures without the fan running... it seems to have a pretty robust passive cooling design.

bon produit qui refroidie bien le ssd je recommande que du ++++ combiné avec Samsung SSD 990 Pro 4to + GELID SOLUTIONS GP Extreme 12W 120x20x1.0mm ne dépasse pas les 50 degrés en pleine charge et en repos le Samsung SSD 990 Pro 4to reste a 38 degrés
