Love this! Bought it to help demolish a garden shed and it was a riot! The weights in the head make the hammer power through anything and there is almost no strain on the wrist. Now thinking of getting a similarly weighted sledge hammer! Oh .... and the quality is great too!

Fantastic mallet. I have the medium and it's a great weight for general use. I doesn't seem that the nylon face unscrews which is a shame as it won't last forever and the face of the head is a little small but the handle is comfortable, it feels OK for balance so far I like it.

I haven't looked forward to trying out a hammer so much since I splurged out - incautiously - on my Estwing claw hammers. Marketing folk call it post-cognitive dissonance when you come back down to reality. The balance feels fine, the rubber hand grip sits nicely in my hand and as a versatile addition to the mobile joinery/repair kit, it's OK. No more, no less. The weight feels fine for my requirements, but the deadblow effect is to me pretty much indiscernable. I'll keep it - more as a reminder that even at 1/3 off list price, all that glisters isn't always gold. Fantastic hammer, packs a great punch for such a small weight. Ideal for timber framing.

Expensive, but precise, effective and comfortable to use. It could be improved with more blow deadening effect with more sand/beads in a larger hammer head cavity, while maintaining the same weight. Hultafors also needs to sort out sale/availability of replacement nylon heads. But my recommendation stands, until Hultafors releases an even better version.
