If working from the ground, it isn’t too cumbersome to use, but on a ladder, it is difficult. It is quite heavy with the battery, when having to reach up to a branch. It cuts great though.

works to cut down anything i needed to make gone. makes fast work of branches a few inches thick and even cut down some small pine trees. not too heavy for me but due to length, I can see that it could be awkward to maneuver for some. battery lasts a good time, but that doesn't concern me as i have multiple batteries from various attachments and never run out of power.

Pro Tips for Use: Battery Choice: While it's compatible with the entire EGO ecosystem, I highly recommend using a 2.5Ah battery. It provides plenty of power for a pruning session while keeping the tool balanced and the weight manageable. Chain Installation: The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is the initial setup. It took me a few tries to get the chain installed and tensioned correctly. I found that even when it felt "tightened," the chain could still be loose if not aligned perfectly on the bar. Precision is key during assembly! Overall, once it’s dialed in, it’s a powerhouse tool that I highly recommend for anyone with palms.

Just what I needed it for. It’s who so I know it’ll work good. Runs on the non-genuine batteries. Made quick work of some good sized branches this spring. I like power head deal, it’s pretty easy to use and you can use a lot of tools. As far as noise, it’s a saw, but it’s not overly loud or anything.
