A great toothbrush, very effective, and the battery lasts a long time. I’m giving it 4 stars only because I had to return it and reorder a new one. I encountered the same charging issue with both orders: the first charge straight out of the box never completed and kept blinking instead of turning solid green, even after leaving it on the charger for 10 hours or more. It seems to be a batch issue or a manufacturing defect, as it happened with two different orders and devices.

Excellent technology. However battery died after two weeks of usage. It only lasts for 5 to 6 minutes per charge.

Guys please don't buy this, I bought 2 and both of them don't work. Battery issues

It broke after 2 weeks battery is not charging and it’s horrible product Total waste of money

Stopped working in less than two months

Update: I wanted to provide an update to my product received in December. I was extremely excited and delighted by the product, as you can see from my original review in December. My toothbrush worked as expected, and I was thrilled with the battery life of the product, only having to charge it twice between December and April. At the end of April, I was invited to try the latest model and said yes. The next day was the first time I had opened the app since January. Upon doing so, my old toothbrush battery went from 50% to 0%. I thought this was a little odd, but I plugged in my original toothbrush to charge overnight. The next morning, the toothbrush not only did not charge, but it no longer "wakes up", turns on, or charges at all. It's as if it self-destructed after connecting to the app for the first time in months. While I'm certainly happy that there was a new brush already on its way, I am really unhappy with the lifespan of the original product, which lasted only 4 months. Let's see how the new one goes! Original Review: I was invited to try the Laifen Wave Electric Toothbrush for free since I had previously purchased their hairdryer (Laifen Swift Special). Since I absolutely loved the hairdryer and how it improved my hairstyling routine, and my Oral B electric toothbrush is over 10 years old and slowing down, I thought why not. The Laifen has a side to side oscillation with a long headed brush, whereas my Oral B was a smaller spinning head. The Laifen came with 3 different types of brushes, and so far I’ve only used the whitening brush. I don’t know how much of a difference the brushes actually make in terms of their labels (ultra-whitening, gum care, super clean) since I’ve only had it 3 weeks. I jumped right into the preset “level 3” intensity since I had previously been using an electric toothbrush. If you’re making the switch from a regular toothbrush, definitely start low and slow, because your gums will really feel it. This little brush packs A LOT of power. I can say with certainty that within 3 days I felt a HUGE difference in the cleanliness of my teeth. My teeth consistently have that “just came from a professional dental cleaning” smoothness to them and are whiter. My gums felt a little sore at first, but have gotten more used to it with time. Some days I lower down to level 1 for a break. I find adjusting the levels to be a little clunky from the brush, but the app is really user friendly, plus you can see the battery level and customize the levels using the app. I was shocked to see how long the battery lasted. It’s been 3 weeks since I charged it, I use it 2x a day and the battery is still at 30%. This makes me feel more confident about not having to lug around yet another chord when traveling; I’m not sure what difference the travel setting makes in battery life, but it seems that unless you’re away for over a month without a chord you won’t even need it. It is annoying that it came with only the usb chord and not a wall plug, but that’s most things these days. There’s only real issue I have with the brushes, and that is the material of the head. It’s a hard plastic, and since the head is elongated not round, it can be challenging to navigate around my closed mouth without it bumping into other teeth. When it does, it is both an unpleasant sound and feeling since it’s a powerful motor and a hard brush head. Most other toothbrushes are rubber or softer plastic on the back for this reason. I never noticed this challenge with my old brush. The last piece is just a “new user be aware”- as I’ve mentioned a few times, it’s tiny but powerful. Put paste on the brush and put it in your mouth before you turn it on, or you will have a toothpaste projectile. Also, keep your lips sealed while it is in your mouth and put your brush all the way in the bottom of the water faucet flow before turning brush back on to rinse it out you will splatter everywhere. Overall- I love this brush and would absolutely buy it if you like a super clean mouth feel. Over time my gum health is also improving and teeth are whiter. Good size and long battery life for travel. Yet to be seen if it will go the distance of a 10 year lifespan that my former electric toothbrush had.

This is the most incredible electric toothbrush experience money can buy. It’s pricy but oh my goodness is it worth it. It feels like I just got out of the dentists chair every time I finish brushing. The toothbrush itself feels very premium with its solid build quality and Apple-like haptics. The Magsafe-esque charger adds to the magical experience of it all too. It leaves your mouth feeling clean and fresh for hours. Will never use another toothbrush again.

Great product that cleans my teeth very well. I like the app but have only used it once to set the settings and a timer for my brushes. For that alone, I rate this product very highly. It cleans very well and it has a very long battery. So far I've very please with the product and hope that it'll last me a long time.

I have had my amazon account since 2010, so 14 years, and this is hands down the best purchase I have made. More than the $2k macbook pro I have bought on here, mattresses, bedroom sets, anything I have bought on amazon does not compare to the greatness of this toothbrush. I am at university full time and work full time so I do not waste my time writing reviews, this is worth a review. I am 27 yo and have face many difficulties in life trying to put myself through school without support, because of this my teeth went 6 years without any dental care, which cause me to have one of my molars removed and I also have a couple of cavities I still need filled. While I save up to get the two fillings and literally over 20 of my other teeth resealed, I have been stepping up my dental care to keep my teeth from getting worse. I saw a couple of tech youtubers review this toothbrush and was like you know might as well try it, it beats the other $200 alternatives. The charging is beautifully designed and works amazing. The way that its a wireless charging in a way, means that its waterproof and can go in the shower without fear of it breaking. The cleaning itself leave my teeth feeling buffed, I actually had to turn it down a little because it made my gums bleed from how much it cleans. Another important thing, is the fact the brush heads are AFFORDABLE to replace, which I grantee that is not the case with other brands. The charging btw is also fast, there was one day before school the battery had died, I set it on the charger for 5 minutes while I got dressed and I came back and it had plenty of juice to brush my teeth thoroughly.
